Congrats Renee🎉🎉🎉🎉.......Here in Newfoundland I did the knowledge test online, did a couple lessons and then went for the road test after a month of being here. Was a great feeling getting a CA DL....but the hardest part for me was when they took my JA driver's license.....mi almost bawl. Me completely understand girl

Mi understand Renee. It’s kinda like you’re giving up a part of Jamaica when you hand in your driver’s licence. Imagine if we had to give up our Jamaican passport in exchange for a Canadian one😭😭😭

Congrats O, 🥳I'm still looking for loopholes to keep my JA DL, btw what was the reason for not using your car for the road test? Did the international DL allow Collin to be your supervising driver for the test?
You also sound like you're over the cold/flu/allergies now. 🥳🥳🥳

Boy I forgot to explain this in the video about the car...so the guy did some checks and said a tail light is out or sumn like that so we had to use their car and pay $75 🤦‍♀️ No Collin wasn't even allowed to come on the road with us. Just me and the examiner
Boy I am over the cold for the most part but the cough is still there, no matter what I take! 🤦‍♀️

Hi Renee, which is better? The abstract or the international drivers license?

The international licence is good to drive in Canada for up to a year. The abstract helps when you are applying for your Alberta licence, I think you go straight to the driving test or Class 5 instead of having to do the knowledge test and get a learner's or Class 7.
So the are both equally important in their own ways. I would say get both if possible
