Hey, good to see you again mate
Oh yeah it’s just been a long transition, it’s good to be back
glad you back to surplus post move ralph
Hey Devin, really on topic and helpful because I ordered a replica WW2 US Marines helmet cover like they used in the Pacific, so thanks!
Happy to help
So, you're saying I have to get it wet first? 👀
Jk, glad to see your back Mate. I'm on a quest to find a M84 Danish cover for the M23 :p
Good luck
Great video! Looking forward to your composite video. Do you have any idea if a PASGT liner will work with a LWH with modern suspension? Thanks
A Pasgt liner will work in the gen1 lwh but not the gen2
homeboy so poor he aint even got a table or shoes
Just looking for a good place to do that stuff here still
@@DevinK Its all good, I remember when you were doing helmet vids on that chair at your old place
@@garaidher at least both of those are gone
Im trying to do this with a Dutch M1 (M53) and the DPM cover. It just doesnt line up so i can get the chinstrap on without looking jank. Its also very smooth.
Im doing a dry run first before i wet it, but even then it just doesnt line up
I belive my cover might be too big, shame there was no option to pick a size when i ordered it
Ah I just found the chinstrap holes.
It's like 1cm away from fitting dry, gonna go and soak it soon
Any luck on getting a composite helmet cover vid soon?
I can do it just got to line up the time
Trying to do this with my Austrian clone was torture, because the shell is smooth as glass
Yup that doesn’t help for sure, been there
How long do I soak the cover for?
Just until saturated doesn’t need more then a few seconds
@@DevinK okay thank you
