DISCLAIMER! Please stop asking me about the template for the helmet cover! I've explained the process of making one in both the FAST Helmet cover and MICH Helmet cover video, which is a very simple process! I'm tired of commemts and messages about that template.
Also, if the helmet cover does not fit right, you can always soak it in hot water then put the cover on. when it dries it will shrink nice and tight to the helmet itself. This is the trick taught to me for army issued covers while in the active infantry.
I like how I've stumbled across this not because I'm trying to make my own helmet cover, but because I'm trying to modify my existing one to fit my helmet better (Who doesn't love the weird elasticated rim on a helmet cover?). Somehow I feel that this video will be of use in future when I just give up on the damn thing. Thanks so much for making it.
Shieet, I have made my own PAGST/WZ.05 helmet cover and had to go through all that things myself, but I have made it in M05 camo to match my self made combat uniform in that camo. But I wish I saw that video earlier!
I've got a polish helmet I can't find a cover for. I wanna make it coyote color to match my other gear, I was gonna try adhesive spray and apply the fabric. It works awesome on my kydex holster still nervous about my helmet tho. Looking for a super cheap on to practice on. You have any xp with glueing the fabric? Also, TYVM this is a fantastic video!!!
Well, I dont think thats going to work well. Because glueing stuff onto a real helmet shell (Kevlar etc.), doesent always end up well. If its a plastic helmet, go for it. The only XP i have is glueing on velcro onto helmets. If the polish helmet you have, is the helmet that kinda looks like FAST Helmet, but not exactly, perhaps you could try, putting on a FAST Helmet cover, and then use scissors to cut it accordingly to the rails and stuff, and then use that as a template, to make a nice Coyote helmet cover.
@@icorfieldtac it's a WZ2000 Kevlar helmet. I just had it out and was laying the fabric on it, see how it would lay down and you're right, not gonna work at all. You think spray paint would work? Thx for the reply :)

If its a wz2000, you can easily use a PASGT cover, or a german army helmet cover, as the shape is basically the same ;)
