Just fyi, if you use a periwash bottle that we get after having babies, you don't have to knock it like that and you can rinse it well without the hassle of dragging out the hose.
@@getitdone308 Every time mine runs, I have to check every 10 or so minutes because it tangles and just won't keep on running, just stays in one place.
interesting - ahh, so it's not actually vacuuming into the sand filter, but using the outlet wash from the filter to power the machine which has its own filter ? FWIW I'm just using a 1.25 adapter on one of T valve inlet to the filter. And able to dial in the vacuum power by manipulating open/close of the valve on the other inlet.
Have you ever seen this vacuum not work? Mine will work for a little bit but then stops in the middle, stops when hits the wall, it just stops. I do have wrinkles on the bottom and I heard that this could be a problem. I have the same pump as you do and I just can't figure it out.
Check your pressure gauge when it stops. I'm wondering if you have a pressure issue. The wrinkles may have an impact too (if they're significant). The vacuum moves by jet propulsion, so it needs enough to get around and over any obstacles (wrinkles).
Hi Damon, I'm not clear on what you're asking. My filter/pump is one that essentially just "turns on". Of course, I can set the time I want it turned on along with a separate time for the chlorinator, but that's the beauty of this vacuum...you just plug it in and turn on your pump. Granted...you still have to have sufficient GPH (I think it's minimum 1000) for it to work.
Thanks for the reply., Sorry I wasn’t more clear. Based on the video it looks like you had a six way pump. And I want to know if you had it in recirculate or filter?
I love mine. The only issue I have is it gets wrapped around my custom pool ladder. If your is just sitting there, you may want to check your water pressure.
@@getitdone308 just to add a bit of feedback, mine came out with the swivel hoses that leaks a bit of water due to the design. I connected the robot to standard pool hoses which dramatically increased it's performance. The only issue i had was it's direction was a bit wonky. I added a weight to the pool hose and now it's performing 100%. So it's definitely finicky about pressure

Do the hoses tangle? How do you stop it from doing it?
The hoses float and pivot around the connection on the vacuum. So tangling really isn't an issue.

That may be a water pressure issue. If there's not enough pressure going through it, it simply won't move.
Thank you!

I'm pretty much doing the same thing with my skimmer. I have to close the other valve inlet to make it work.

If it stops, it's usually because of lack of pump pressure. What kind of pump do you have?
@@getitdone308 I have the 2100 gph Krystal clear sand filter pump by intex.

What did you put under your ladder feet to protect the pool liner?
I bought a runner mat at Home Depot. It's the no-slip kind with holes in it. Worked great!
what setting did you have your filter pump set to for your vacuum?

Got it. It's on the "filter" function.
Great video!
Thanks! Hope it helps!
I bought mine yesterday. Some places it performs excellently but some patches it just sits there

@@spacenewstoday9518 How exactly did you add a weight to the pool hose?
@@franny5295 you get those weights that clip on to the hose
How does it attach to the pool??
The hose attaches to the inlet (where the water comes INTO the pool).
@@getitdone308 okay got it, thank you
How did you attach the vacuum to the pool
It comes with an attachment to the pool outlet (from the filter).
Get it Done thank you! Will it work if I just have a cartridge filter
Yes. It comes with an adapter that goes on the inside of the pool.
@@getitdone308 The adaptor does not thread onto the pool outlet part. Any suggestions?
Your pool outlet may need to change.
What attachment did you use to be able to plug the vacuum hose into the pool’s outlet ?
The vacuum came with an attachment
What setting did you put your sand filter pump on ?
There's only 1 setting really..."on".
