I've never thought of this until now. Carter Hutton has played for three NHL teams. Predators, Blues and Sabres without having to change the Colour of his gear even once.

In my opinion you could have used Jake Oettinger Blackout Pads with the Stars Blackout Uniform is a great look as well as his normal pads

I thought Irbe as well. I would love to see mask reviews of goalies in the 90s.
Irbe's gear are legendary. The same gear for his entire career with self done repairs.
Elvis’ pads were actually quite different last season, for example, the bottom (or top depending on your view) of the glove, blocker and pads were red, with the Ohio flag just above that, then there was a larger, blue Columbus skyline, then it was all white, with some subtle accents, and the secondary logo (the cannon one) subtly at the top of the pads
8:17 I grew up watching Marc-Andre Fleury, all yellow/gold pads are always my favorite I loved watching Casey DeSmith when he wore his a few years ago and I hope he goes back to the all yellow/gold pads.
Yes those yellow pads was also my favourite as a kid and is a reason why I love Fleury so much. His golden pads are so good too.
as a Vegas fan I love Lehner in the retro, Fleury in the gold. And both of their goalie pads are just amazing.

as a goalie who spends every minute looking at pads and could tell you the exact setup of everybody going down to the ECHL, I already know is going to disagree with everything here.

Hands down, favorite episode you put out! I used to play goalie in high school so I’ll forever have a soft spot in my heart for goalies. If you do a goalie helmet ranking as well, that’d be awesome!
As a goalie, Sorokin's pads are some of my favorites in the league. Show off the puck marks man, it's like battle scars!

Something I always appreciate and was drawn to as a kid was the creativity of goaltender equipment. I just like when a goaltender adds their personality, try to match a mix up a design with a speciality jersey, or pay tribute to their team.

I love that goalies are expanding their looks a bit. With what you said about Lehner, Petr Mrazek has done the same thing this year in Carolina. He has a red set for the home jersey, white for the away, and Black for the alternate

I didn't grow up watching Tom barraso but he did coach the team I support in the UK for a year the Sheffield steelers

Brians have always been amazing. My favorite of all time was Felix Potvins pads with the Leafs during the 97-98 season.
Brian's is the absolute best when it comes to custom pads. the ones Potvin wore with LA and Boston with the full cat head were beautiful.

Jacob Markstroms black pads with the dragon head on them are of my favourite pads of all time. Definitely my favourite of the last decade.
love how everyones changin to true! used to be a tendy and they never had true pads 3-5 years ago so its great considering i only use true as a skater which is my main now
@Nicholas Scalice when i played i went through 4 sets a black and white with silver accent rebok youth a white ccm primer set a white brian netik i think with orange brians customize sticker thingys whatever they called cause my team was orange and finally vaughn ventus slr white with black

I do think Petr Mrazek should be on this list somewhere at least. Has 4 helmets and 4 pad designs he uses if each jersey and he even has mixed them up a little depending on his mood as well but they are great. I know I am biased as a 'Canes fan, but I don't care if he was at the bottom of the list )even though I think it is higher than the bottom) I just think it is cool he has great equipment and ones for each uniform
Lehner’s pads at #3 are a playing card theme. If you look at the crossed sword emblem, starting at top going clockwise, there is a highly stylized heart, club, diamond and spade.
In my opinion, for an emergency backup goalie, Scott Foster from the Blackhawks. The blacked out pads went so well with the red jersey.

it has been proven that goalies have better stats with white pads than colored pads
main reason : the board behind you is white, the net is white, and your pads are white which makes it hard to aim for the players

Good MAF had to be in the top with being gold! Like com’ON! Though Lehner (reverse retro) and Dells pads are killing it for me they look outstanding! And I am totally shocked that a bruins set up made it into the list, Vladar and Swayman are more interesting I’ll give it that....When ever I see Halak though all I can think of is Monster Energy Drinks lol

I’m not one to give pads as much attention as you have here - I may have to start tho🙌🏼- Anyways. Rangers third goalie Keith Kinkaide got the nod to start the last game of the season (unfortunately he pulled up injured and couldn’t go the whole way ) he had some very cool, reverse retro geometric Blue & Red kit!!! Not the normal Rangers red and blue. The RR are both deeper toned colors and a bit muted. Really caught my eye. Kieth did a great job this season. Filled that roll and excelled. Hanging out with Benoit Allaire will do that to a backstop!! Cheers.

Elvis didn’t use these exact pads last season, I’m assuming due to a modeling issue or whatnot, but it’s very similar.
I like Carey Price red pads and Fleury,s brown retro pads.
If you look closely on Elvis’ pads, where it says “Baur” it has the barrel of the cannon!

This is the kind of video that could've been a hour long if you looked at every set of every goalie that has played this year. Some goalies have a set for every jersey or have had multiple sets this season. I think Price has had 4 or so. Good Idea to condense it down.
