@ourworlds atwar There are people who listen to 2nd wave black or dm but can't stomach war metal. Used to be one of them. Leave the guy be, he'll come around :P
@@Katechon1349 I said what I said. FAOD does not sound how it sounds because they arbitrarily decided to, just for the sake of being trve kvlt. A problem during mastering happened. It was supposed to sound like this one had the problem not happened. It is still enjoyable, but it wasn't supposed to sound like that.

Blasphemy is the only war metal band that no other metal band can be at this highest calibre in this genre. Other blackened death Metal couldn't impress me.
anti-konformist x try Impiety from Singapore That’s pure bestial blackened death metal epikness. Actually they are fans of Blasphemy too they are a band formed in the late 1989 or something Probably no one expected such blasphemic band to ever come up in Asian territory that too in 1989
Ive only listen to their other album once fully and could never listen to it fully again. i can listen to this tho because i can hear the guitars and drummings and even vocals. so this album is way better than the other. i know its so poser of me to like production but then again at least you can hear the badass riffs and such its better than the other album with the demon holding the cross bow.
try listen to fallen angel of doom from the middle, a bit more clearer riffs. i think they also said it in an interview that the guitars are not mixed right on that one...
Blasphemy is somewhat banned from the USA, they illegally crossed to play a couple shows in 88/89, one of them being at the venue at Berkley. Since they went down, they also trashed the Wild Rags store for ripping them off when signing Blasphemy for Fallen Angel of Doom. Never got arrested but I'd imagine they weren't wanting to risk heading down there again after that
KernelKaramilk2100 -thanks for the response.thats fucked up but that’s what happens to thieves.seeing the Gods is number 3 on my “fuck it list “are you associated with them?
@@theNinjastar27 they are banned from the US? And I thought I would have to go there to see them live when I was reading the thread. Great, so I have the possibility to See them. Whoa kiddies this is proper bestial blackened grindcore & it rages like good 'ol beelzebub after the vindaloo squits. Play it loud at your twat hat neighbours!
They're still active and playing shows, I saw them last summer in Edmonton. Black Winds and Caller are still in the band, as well as DeathLord (I know he joined in 1999 but still a well-known member). On FB it still lists 3 Black Hearts as their drummer but they have the guy from Weregoat drumming. Guessing 3BH can't drum currently due to health or whatever
This was labeled as Black metal, I dont see this as Black Metal in any way, lol. Closer to like Morbid Angel, or something death like. Great Canadian band though :)
There's a lot more to black metal than the 'Norwegian' sound that I think you're referring to. There was a lot of black metal before Euronymous & friends 'defined' what it is and what it's not. It's more to do with the satanic themes and less with the way you pick your guitar, or the pitch of your growls. Blasphemy is 100% black metal.
I'll be back in a year or two, I can't appreciate this yet
Koolest Kitty Kat listen to Sarcofago its a good point to start
...or listen to early Sodom, it's a good prerequisite for appreciating Blasphemy
@ourworlds atwar There are people who listen to 2nd wave black or dm but can't stomach war metal. Used to be one of them. Leave the guy be, he'll come around :P
year passed bro
Guess i shouldn't recommend Revenge, then.
Sounds so awesome, but it's weird seeing a war metal album covered pictured as a colorful solar system IMO heh
There's another cover with the typical red black and white.
One mustnt forget one of satans forms is a Peacock.
U know how much destruction that demon lady is about bring? Worlds of pain, bet.
I like it. Helps it stand out and feel less generic.
Its mystical satanism my brother
Never stop the madness
Killer album alongside with Fallen Angel Of Doom. I has both LP’s. Regret I sold ‘em.
Sorry to hear that you sold the albums.
This and Beherit are true originals!
Don't forget to include Impaled Nazarine and Mystifier
And almighty SARCOFAGO!
And archgoat
And Mortuary Drape from Italy
Oh, are we naming obscure old Black/Thrash/Death bands?
Cool. Vulcano.
I can't believe in my 34 years of life that I never listened to these legends!!!!
31 for me, been blasting them non stop the past few days
I was aware of their album fallen angel of doom forever but only listened to it the first time 6 months ago.
many great underground band out there! check out Sadistik Exekution from Australia, with their KAOS and FUKK albums!
conqueror- War cult supremacy! also from canada! u might wonna check out!
i think the same, and i am 52y/o!
This sounds like the grind version of early Sodom
Sarcofago's INRI comes to mind
Holy smoke this is pure raw and crude. ❤️
This one fits a bit more into The Norwegian Standard Idea of Black Metal I would say. First one is like a contemporary to The Finnish Bands.
This is Canadian Black Metal through and through. Totally unique.
I wish Fallen Angel of Doom didn't suffer from bad production and sounded like this one :(
That's fair
Honestly as much I like this production, Fallen Angel sounds perfect for it’s style, glad that this album sounds completely different.
The musicianship in this was completely night and day compared to FAOD.
What the hell are you even talking about
