The defense has had bad games since Keenan Pili went down. Kentucky started it, Miss St. Piled onto it, and UGA finished it! We gotta get aggressive again!
Agreed, but obviously our D was going to suffer losing Pili. He's a 5th year senior and our premiere LB... These other younger guys were thrust into a situation that they weren't really ready for. The good thing is that these young guys should be much better next year considering they now have a lot of experience.
If this team doesn't do anything different on offense against UTEP and Vanderbilt, then we're not going to put over 40+ points on them! We can't just run up the middle every play or throw the ball behind the line of scrimmage to the WRs all game in both games!
100% agreed, I do not understand why we aren't throwing more deep balls. I get that our WR have drops, but is that really why you only threw 2-3 deep balls the entire game against GA? If so, somebody needs to literally get fired because that is absolutely inexcusable. And no I'm not suggesting Heupel/Halzle get fired, but my point is that you are not going to win having 15-play drives. It's too difficult. Throw the effing ball down the field and make it catchable, and if it gets intercepted or dropped then so be it. I want to see them throwing at least 10 deep balls a game. Even if 1/5 hit, that's still way more points than what we're scoring now. I just don't understand it, but they need to get it together and start forcing Nico to throw down field regardless of what he sees in the coverage.
What made Tennessee a fun team to watch? An explosive offense. What did Tennessee lack in ‘22? A dominating defensive. Good teams get better during the season. Who says that? Yeah! We are still treading water with two games to go. Will our season be successful? Yes. Are we elite? Not yet. Keep grinding boys.
It’s still a really good season. It’s still disappointing. Both things can be true. We can be upset with the selection committee while being pleased with our team’s progress.
Well VQ talking about Ole Miss losing to Kentucky @ home and Tennessee losing in Fayetteville to Arkansas well what about Alabama losing in Nashville to Vanderbilt that's a ugly loss as well in most seasons yeah Vanderbilt is better this season than they usually are but it's still Vanderbilt 💯
If the CFB 13 committee members still value the LOSER of both the SEC CG and the LOSER of BIG10 CG which each of those teams could have 3 losses.. then all of the other conferences that don't get their CG LOSER also into the playoffs are going to be upset more than teams missing out completely.😮😅😮😅😮 Seems we just need to go ahead with the move to 16 team or at the maximum 20 team playoffs. Once the SEC and BIG10 move to Super Conferences with 20 teams in each also when each conferences play 9 games with only 3 nonconference games then the playoffs needs to move to 20 team playoffs bottom line.😮
We can thank squirrel white for letting ark punter boom that one 70 yards over his head while he just stood there or we would never be in this situation why was boo carter not returning punts all year
I have no idea why we didn't blitz more! I have no idea why we didn't take shots down the field. This might be the worst coaching job this staff has ever had.
Seems we NEED to move playing UGA earlier in the season like during the month of September. We can still recover with an EARLY LOSS to a good ranked team but losing in November to UGA is ALWAYS going to keep us out of 12 team playoffs. Until the CFP move to 16 or 20 team playoffs 10-2 is always going to barely get into the playoffs or always the first team out. 😮😅😮😅😮😅😮😅😮
Everytime we were put in front of a top 25 team this season, we won all but against Georgia at their place in a night environment and we proved we belong. We did not get blown out. How many times did the other teams beat a current top 25 team that was i. Front of them. That is my argument. There is value in breaking the confidence of a team to a downfall. 😊
25:19 Why are we waiting on Chris Brazzle to get open to throw to him? That guy should be getting 5 passes a game *minimum*. Why are we waiting on Donte Thornton to get past somebody to throw to him? He should be getting 5 passes/game *minimum*. WHY ARE WE NOT MAKING MORE 50/50 THROWS? Why are we not taking more deep shots and just living with the results? We threw ~2-3 deep balls against GA... That is INEXCUSABLE. Throw the f*cking ball deep and give our WR a chance to make a play!! I know they've had some drops, but you cannot just stop throwing to them because of that. There is absolutely no reason to wait until you have 10 yards of separation before u throw it. We should be throwing 8-10 deep balls a game, I just don't understand why we aren't doing it. Hell, throw a deep ball on back to back plays (regardless of the coverage) and see if it works. You couldn't possibly do any worse! Expecting to have a 14-play drive down the field is just stupid scheming.
Nico has better receivers and tight ends than Milton had, and his numbers are worse. We have to quit trying to absolve Nico of blame for the offense's performance. How many turnovers does he have? How many overthrows? How many missed reads? We have an elite running attack, but this is Huepel's worst offense in a decade. Milton was not a good qb, yet he performed better than Nico has. Nico may be elite next year, but he is the reason we can't score more than 20 points against SEC teams. Reality is Reality. GBO
Rather not go to CFP and get embarrassed if they keep playing like this. My BVS says if things work out to where they make it in........ as usual in true fashion they'll find a way to 💩 the bed.
Jesus loves you have a blessed day ❤
JESUS CHRIST is our LORD and savior 🙏 amen

Thank you guys for your work really appreciate the coverage

8-2 is where everyone predicted we would be before the season started. I am happy with what this team has accomplished. GBO!
It’s still a really good season. It’s still disappointing. Both things can be true. We can be upset with the selection committee while being pleased with our team’s progress.
17:31 - I'm interested to see this as well Hubbs. Heupel needs to beat the drum for his guys.
Someone send Rob a mic setup please.

We need to beat UTEP, and Vandy by 30 plus. If we don't we are headed to the Taxslayer bowl.
good talk guys. Can we get Rob a mic? Sounds like a kid scribbling when he talks...

Getting in because you made the conference championship shouldn't be considered a given. If someone takes an ugly loss that should matter.
Interesting that Vandy scored more points against Bama than UT did.
I think Tennessee will be ranked 10th tonight.
I’m afraid so as well
@@bigboylove2288afraid? Is that not great?
AP got this down to 38min
UT beat 1 team so far with a winning record.
0 Sacks is almost hard to believe with this DL. Bummer that our playoff hopes ended with a loud fart.
I hope Vandy beats LSU @ LSU to set up another quality win for us.
Pope hasn't developed physicality on the outside and its a problem! It doesn't matter if you can recruit if you can't develop SEC quality WR

How come Nico not throwing over the middle?

UT has 1 win against teams with winning record.

Remember how the sec screwed fsu last year????? Vols are about to get it this year😂

4 sec teams is all that’s getting in and the vols ain’t one of them!!!!!
Football harder when you play against a decent passing QB. Not a freshman QB.
