I have this album on vinyl... had it since 1988. Bought it along with Dead Brain Cells for 17 bucks for the both of em... us old fuckers still love thrashing out to this shit!!!
IDC what anyone sez nobody, NOBODY else's version even comes close to the greatness of this cover. A lot of my favorite bands have covered it, Soundgarden, monster magnet, Melvins, QOTSA, exhorder etc and honestly all but SG and exhorder are tolerable but even they are shit next to this one. Unfuckingtouchable. Period.
The GREAT DR. KNOW touch à good song from the god BLACK SABBATH... and very very good playing... you are god with BAD BRAINS... i love this bands.......
@darkangyl13 OK, so granted, this is from wiki, but: "The same day that Brandon Cruz announced the breakup of the punk Dr. Know, Kyle Toucher announced the reformation of the Wreckage in Flesh era line up. Called DK2010, it features Toucher, Mike Purdy, Tim Harkins, and Larz White."
Agree!Got the chance to see them at a backyard show in east la which i never go to east la gigs cause of drama and shit but dr know was a reason to go and just for a dollar even though it was w/ brandon i love both singers so i still enjoyed myself
Tremendous and underated! One of the best versions, hands down.Love that nasty, grinding fuckin guitar tone! Not enough people have heard this unfortunately.......
It's on the original vinyl and cassette versions. My best friend from high school played bass on this album and I didn't even get a free copy. I had an advance demo version though.
Soundgarden's version is the bestest and jazziest and closest to the original even though Chris Cornell replaced the lyrics with a speech by a Native American Indian Chief.
The Exhorder version is too stiff-sounding and the vocals are too extreme metal-ish. The guitar tone is too trebly as well, and the drumming doesn't groove. This version is much closer to the original feel.

Greatest Fucking Black Sabbath cover EVER!! Kyle Toucher does an incredible Ozzy tone.
derSkullsplitter ya this is pretty spot on can’t deny it coming from hardcore sabbath fan here
The original and this are the two best versions.

My best friend from high school played bass on this album - he was only 17 at the time.
I love the fuzz of the guitar on this cover
and this cover and Soundgarden's cover are now my favorites

It's not Dr. Know without Kyle Toucher.

Greatness way better than BS
i like this better than the original.
Dylan Imperi agreed
For me its hard to find covers that come close to my heart but this version and exhorders version are way up there
pretty good for a punk band, eh?
hehe cool
expensive disc nowadays

is like stoner rock
Exhorder is thee best version! ⛧🤘

Damn there both super close in my opinion but i love how yet they both sound so different
