I think Larry, Wendy, Ludwig, Lemmy, Roy, Morton, Iggy, E Gadd, Pianta, Noki, and Funky Kong deserve a playable appearance in Mario Party. Toadsworth would be cool but Nintendo just hates the guy for some reason. The Koopalings have never ever appeared in Mario Party ever and they deserve a chance. As much as I would love for them to be playable, they would probably be better as hosts unless the roster is 30+ characters. Just because people recommend for characters does not mean they are ungrateful with the roster. The roster is the best in Mario Party history and I am completely content with the roster. Dry Bones, Diddy Kong, Hammer Bro and Pom Pom being removed is disappointing especially Diddy Kong but it is still a great roster regardless.
I love the Koopalings but they really don't deserve their own slot if it makes sense, just take the Smash approach and make them alternative skins for Bowser Jr

i can see people not caring for WarioWare and really old characters but the Koopalings are definately the superior chaice over 4 baby characters, other 1 off characters (Luma, Cappy) and a Blooper who cant even survive on land
I really like the variety in the roster. Some uncommon characters like Poochy and the penguin would be really cool. And I'm kind of surprised that none of the baby characters have appeared in the series yet. Great video!

Exactly. I can easily name 4 non replica characters that would be better: Hariet (Bunny boss from Odyssey. I love bunny characters in general and so do many people) Queen Bee (Classic. People even ask for her return in Mario Kart) Lobba (Underrated character from an underrated game. The pilot from Galaxy 2) Pianta (Citizen from Mario Sunshine) Bonus one in case you think one of these aren't good enough to be picked over a baby version: Funky Kong (Alrhough I love hime I prefer these 4 especially due to lack of representation. I would switch out Pirahna Plant or Pom Pom for him though)

I mean, I wouldn’t really go for the baby characters. Instead, I would go for characters like E. Gadd who should be in more spin offs, the Piantas, who should have been in Mario Party for a long time, I might suggest Prince Florian to go alongside Cappy for the partner character from a game, and maybe for a biased perspective Funky Kong since that dude would rule to have at a party. Also, Pom Pom and Lakitu are also hosting modes. And while the former probably couldn’t be playable, we’ve seen Toads, Koopas, Goombas, and other stuff as NPCs, so I say just for Pom Pom, we go for Petey Piranha. He’d need to be scaled down, but it would be fun to have the goof playable. Fun list, though. I would definitely be playing any and all Kongs possible. I do hope this game gets DLC, since the first two games on Switch didn’t, but who knows? This game looks like it has a way more substantial budget. It could happen finally.

I do like the idea of including Flutter for the Wiggler player character representation. And if I were to do a small dlc for the game, I think adding Dry Bones and Flutter alongside a board like Chilly Waters or Deep Blooper Sea makes sense to me. Maybe also include a couple returning mini games like: Locked Out, Frozen Frenzy, Clean Team, and Tightrope Treachery, and more customization options like the ability to turn off allies or set a limit to their appearance.
The thing is. For characters that ment to be minors.. there are special rules. So hitting a baby with a hamer (which isbpossible if baby mario was in it) gets you a worse rating for age. In mario kart is not important. Because hitting a cart with a turtle shell is not the same as hitting with a hammer.
Flutter was the one that takes you to the star in Mario Party 6 and 7. Wiggler did it in Mario Party 5 (but he did have that animation as part of the cutscene where he transforms into Flutter).
The babies are great choices, I always say that canonically yes they are just baby versions of known character; but also canonically they are also different characters in a way( thanks to time travel shenanigans ). Plus they are good choices for people that only like cute characters, great marketing for a large roster.
I would seap 3 of the baby's with Ashley, kranky kong and vivian tbh i never understood why nintendo doesn't just add beloved spin off characters from the rpgs or used the wario and donkey kong characters in their spin offs i would love to play as them over the damn baby's

Honestly I love the 22 character roster we have now but if they were to extend it I would just add all the characters that have been playable in other games which are Hammer Bro, Diddy Kong, Blooper, Pom-Pom, Kamek & Dry Bones. I would leave Koopa Kid out cause of Bowser Jr.

My roster would be Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Wiggler, Nabbit, Lakatu, Noki, Pianta, Luma, Forman spike, Dry Bones, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Cranky Kong, Funky Kong, King k rool, Kremling, Wart, Peady Parania, Snifit and these next 2 are super bazaar, but Mallow and geno would be great unlocked characters
I think it would be cool if a luma was one of the playable characters and he or she is also independent from Rosalina too.

No koopa kid. L List. He was a staple of mario party since the beginning up until 7, even getting a couple playable appearances. But nintendo shoved him in the closet. Rip koopa kid
