The only reason i can see is that they aren't making different minis pictures for the talents anymore, meaning new minis wouldn't have different pics. So they decided to just remove them all.
Don't worry, it just flipped from raid to siege today. They'll totally buff Golemagg and break this strat again before MC comes back around, like normal.
I'm sure ysera can do well here. I did try it with a guild member yesterday who still needed this boss. He had the talent where he shares the minis with me. I can say that personally I didn't like that. But I also haven't had a ton of runs with it yet so I could change my mind. I do think however that Gargoyle is an underrated unit for this fight. He can tank nicely and of course provide decent damage.
I was a fan of Ysera from the start, she has some of already available Minis, but cheaper and stronger due to a lot of poison damage ! combined with other poison-Minis, they melt every boss in a few seconds... especially nice with some hard dungeon-bosses.
Flying minis *are* the mechanic. Fighting the core hounds is nearly useless with how the fight is programmed. If they made the core hounds charge after flyers without changing a single other mechanic in the fight, the entire thing would be a miserable shit show.
@@tym6217 Dunno how easy it is since the nerf, but bog beast healed by Malf was able to hold a hound forever and you could just take towers from the ground without any issue.
I miss the old grid that showed different pictures of Minis based on the talents they used. Restore that shit, Blizzard.
I don't understand why it was took back...
Me too, it was so much better. Blizzard has been cutting fun things out of their games lately in the name of cost savings.

@@Skylair95 that's such a bad decision though. if they had to cut costs it shouldn't be in the art department

Excellent innovative guide 👍 Gutsy though trying it on the open queue 💪

Blizzard be like “oh we had no idea whelps would be used like that” incoming buff to golemagg next cycle
this should be the new pug defacto standard
Waiting for a new strategy after Malfurion and AoW nerf ❤

The one Ysera talent I don't have...
You can use the others too.
Golemagg is easy, the problem is Geddon :(
First!
They should fix the flying minis on golemagg. The dogs should be able to hit them. Otherwise there are no mechanics to the fight.

@Skylair95 I don't think the healing would be good enough anymore. I've been testing it, and the nerf hit pretty hard.
@@willlastnameguy8329 You can always add in a Druid of the Claw for the extra HoT-healing and keept it alive all the time.
@Stompy1984 True. I didn't take that talent though.
