I now realize it's a good thing that I'm poor and can't afford to buy awesome stuff like this, because if I wasn't poor and could afford it, I'd be even poorer than I am now from buying all these cool toys lol.
Also not forgetting that Mixmaster and Scavenger (I think) have to stand on their heads! The robots acting as the legs of Abominus or Computron for instance at least get to stand upright

How tall is he? He looks awesome but how stable is he for displaying if I stick him on a shelf in my living room do I need to worry about him taking a nose dive or can I stick him on the high shelf and not worry?

I want to buy this. I’ve heard that there are knock offs of this. (a knock off of a knock off) I’m having a hard time deciding where or who to buy this from. Any advice of what to look for and how I know the seller is going to provide me with what I want? I have found that the ones sold on eBay for about the $145 range (all 6 figures with no box) seems the most legitimate so far.
The knock off of this is by NBK (this one's by Jinbao, in case you hadn't know). It's significantly cheaper, but from reviews I've watched it seems like NBK's plastic is more fragile and several transformations are simplified. An immediate giveaway of the NBK version is that the windows are tinted orange.
Be careful buying some of the Chinese versions of this. The moving parts fall off. The plastic feels so cheap and thin it can’t get any cheaper. Way too many moving parts and made too complicated to complete without having instructions with you all the time. One I bought for my son is in about 100 pieces right now in zip lock bags. And we know our transformers very well with a large collection of old and new. at age 47 still have a load of my early 1980’s G1’s that I’ve passed down to my son.

Well, if you put him in a 'H' pose is stable, at least mine is really stable. Never moved a bit unless you touch it.
I have this set and it's awesome! It scales even better with the War for Cybertron series. But it has some major stability issues in combine mode.

If the hands come separated then is not a transformer, is just a LEGO.
I still wish someone would use the cement berrel as a mace weapon for devestator. beyond that this has to be my favorite version of the character.
