"application.ScreenUpdating=true" is very important. Most other videos on this use "Target.Calculate", but this fails to let you add or insert lines to your table.
If you encounter the problem not working after u close it, i migth have the answer because i solve it i my own idk it this works on you, feel to reply here if need help
Well it’s quite cool to practice excel skill but I’m wondering who would anyone use that instead of just using native excel solution. You can highlight the whole row by clicking on the row number. Additionally this solution uses VBA so it will not even work on excel cloud. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good exercise but overall kind of useless in my pov.
This is automatic highlighting, the major use of this is to easily figure out the selected row in big data. Its useful in meetings and presentation, when there is big data and you have to switch between rows frequently to explain the things. Anyway, thanks for the comment🙏🙂
@@spreadsheet_powerI cannot imagine situation when I show excel table during the meeting. As CX manager I work with data each day and I doubt that any manager would present a table with data or spreadsheet in from of other stakeholders. In such meeting we present charts, results, etc which are self explanatory and highlighting anything is not needed. If anyone need to highlight data during presentation it means the presentation is poor. Taking all into account I still cannot find justification or good use case for it.
It is useful when comparing your data to another list etc. For example, you can go down row by row by hitting the down arrow, like when comparing to a bank statement. You can't do that your way: the down arrow would only highlite the next row first cell. This makes it easy to read a table without needing alternating shaded bands.
Very useful, thank you🙏
