Another very helpful and relevant stealth technique video for lower water levels as summer unfolds ...some nice fish too...may I also ask what brands/style of small (20/22) hooks you use and have confidence in George ? ...I find some to have small gapes and hookups can be an issue on wild fish (probably caused by my lack skill :) ...have tried tying a scaled-down small pattern on an 18 sometimes 16 hook but they don't always look or fish 'right' in my view...many thanks
Were you using bead head tungsten nymphs , such as a 1.5 mm bead on the size 22, or just lead weighted nymphs? Very cool video. I really enjoyed it because this is how I’m fishing right now. Yesterday I had success in shallow water by hanging nymph under a black ant dry fly. Our waters are very low and clear. So much that I’m sight fishing for them. I call it an upstream nymph technique when I’m nut using a dry to hang the nymph. . Any info I Will appreciate!!! Thanks.
Great video, Thanks. I'm just now off to the tying vice...!
You can do it!
Thanks mate …I really enjoyed the video …winter and closed season here …your’ee keeping my spirits up 😂😂

Great video George, what brand of hooks do you use for your size 22 ?
Tiemco are good, also hanak make good hooks.
Thanks George 👍
Great video 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed
Nicely done with that long leader!! Perdigone ??
No Bob, just a few turns of thread behind a 1.5mm bead.

@@springerspanielful Thanks George
Do you ever use a strike indicator?
No David, they scare fish, especially in low water conditions, also they will imo prevent you becoming a good nymph angler.
Great video.
Thanks for the visit
