HI! This lesson was funny. French people do the same in France. They use a lot of English words, like parking, week-end, drugstore etc... We don't use these words in the Province of Quebec.
Bonsoir , j ai regarde sur une plate forme ,je ne sais pas si on a le droit de la citer , mais elle est connue de tous lol ! Anyway , la methode de Kominsky ( en vo )et lors d un repas , il dit bon appétit en accentuant sur "it" , video précédente :-)
Hi Adrien, Hi There, Could you make me sure than "rendez-vous" is used in English ? I though that it was like a "date" , a romantic appointment..I am quite sure I have heard this expression in some movies, but I am not sure. Thanks a lot.
Yesterday, I had a rendez-vous with a guy whom is the crème de la crème, in a very old school café to have a drink. I had even imagined we would afterwards go in a Haute Cuisine French restaurant to have lunch . I have been waiting for him for two hours, but, unfortunately, this crème de la crème never came. He stood me up ☹ letting me very blased...C'est la vie....No...it's not the life. Obviously, this story is not true. Never in my whole life, I waited for a guy for two hours and in addition, I don't trust very much the crème de la crème. When I realize how rude they behave, I think that I'm right, aren't I ?
Ahahahahah Je n'ai jamais compris pourquoi les Russes connaissent cette expression en français qu'on utilise JAMAIS et qui est pas terrible du tout....

"Rendez-vous" peut avoir effectivement une connotation amoureuse : www.wordreference.com/enfr/rendezvous
