    Looks great bout to do my first one only used mine for wings so far love how pressure cooker pushes all the seasonings deep into the meat. If you haven’t done it yet makes the best buffalo wings that don’t have sauce all over them just toast for five minutes in oven broiler after finishing and they are the most fall of the bone tender wings ever..... Here goes nothing with the brisket thanks for the vid looks simple enough....

      Yes I also made wings in Instant Pot and they are so yummy! Hope you enjoy the brisket! 🤗

    Is the time in instant-pot depends on meat weight? same line how we do in oven?

      The time I use in the video works for most size briskets. Mine was around 3 lbs I think. If it's over 5 lbs, I'd add another 15 min to the cooking time.

    I would have done a few things different... soaked brisket in cold water for a few hours to leach out any sodium, used low sodium beef broth(instead of water), garlic powder and black pepper in addition to the chili powder, sear it first, then wrap it foil after done....for an hour. Then cut.

      There's no sodium. Unless you meant a corned beef brisket.

    What if you don't like the pepper you use what can you use then ?

    • @MelanieCooksRecipes
      @MelanieCooksRecipes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can just leave the pepper out, or substitute it with any other spice that you like :)

      Be assured the meat was actually really tender! Instant Pot brisket is the most tender brisket I ever tasted!

      and dry as hell

    • @MelanieCooksRecipes
      @MelanieCooksRecipes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@clobel55 it might look like it, but in reality it's not dry. The meat is very soft when pressure cooked in the instant pot.

    Try putting the liquid smoke in the water next time.
