Big thanks as always for the videos Rabid. I couldn’t get vipor pool to work, kept giving me problems with response or subscribe, no matter the miner I tried. SRBminer did boost up my hash. You need to use the physical cores only for full hasrate. Lets says 5900x only 12 threads. The other thing is for cpu-miner need to know procesors architecture ss2 , ss2-amd or ryzen.. There are differents options. More in miner doc.

Thanks, Rabid. testing I found that SRB miner is running a little faster than CPUminer. I found that using 11 treads on 3900x works best and 14 threads on 3950x
Hey rabid, I am seriously thinking to hire an engineer and build a crazy shelf system with cooling for cpu rigs.i am getting like 10x farm size increase. I said 10MH before, but it's definately going to be a lot. I am so excited! Especially for the whole build process and setting up solar and wind, grid tied free power. I've worked my whole life and have the capital. Not going to break my ankle
So if you are only using say 10 threads but have a 48 thread cpu, could you spool up 4 miners on the same system?.. maybe using a vm/ hypervisor and allocate the threads out?
awesome video. thank you. one question, how do you limit cores in srb miner? when i select 'plugin and device configs:' it populates the box with '--cpu-threads -1;0'. how i change that to limit threads?
Ryzen 7 5800x. 6 threads seems to be the best at about 1.622KH. 5 threads does about 1.6KH. Would there be a power savings with running 5 threads instead of 6? Also, I used the pool you are using but for some reason can’t find it online so there’s no way for me to check how it’s doing…
It's funny; a few hours after you posted this video, the profitability was nowhere near $2 a rig. I am lucky to see $6 for 10 rigs (about the going rate if I were mining to Nicehash, Zephyr, etc.). In my 3900x/5900x rigs, I also cannot get above 1.2 KH with 2 sticks of RAM and 10 threads (CPU at 3600 with 1V). Thoughts?
Just as Rabid said, in Yespower algo, RAM speed matters (much more than latency btw). You *have* *to* enable XMP profile (or use DRAM calculator etc) and then lower RAM voltage as much as you can while remaining stable. This should get you above 2kH/s at about 90W per motherboard. At least that's what I'm getting with a 3900 (non-X), clocked at 3.4 GHz, 0.9V (both CPU and SoC), XMP enabled, around 1.28V RAM voltage. With these settings, I get around 2.15 kH/s per CPU, at about 90W power draw per motherboard. EDIT: I'm using 4 motherboards per 1 power supply. My slowest RAM is 3000, fastest is 3600. But actually I'm getting the best hashrate with 3200 RAM sticks, for some weird reason, NOT the 3600.

Verus takes over and vish drops to nil

@@mjctorag I have it paired with a Msi-7E28. I left the bios at its standard setting which limits the cpu to 90 watts total. No oc. Nice video. Which ram's are optimal with AMD 7950x3d for CPU mining? Can you go with the cheapest option or should you go for something like 6000mhz 2x16GB etc?
Rabid because Zeph keep dropping I decided to mine more Vish and realize that because it uses less cores we can increase the speed or lower the voltage. I had my 7900x with 17 threads and 4.775 Ghz-1,055V making 3.56 KH/s and now run them at 5.15 Ghz-1,07V making 3.64 to 3.74 Ghz.
This coin likes to use only the physical CPU cores while mining. So on my 7950x CPU's, it shows the best results at 16 cores. Otherwise, with settings in the Bios, 4200 h/s can be achieved at only 97 - 100 watts, which is quite a good result for the 7950x. Thanks!
@@boriborko6061 Not every motherboard can allow you such results, but the goal is to enable the factory memory OC. Mine is at 6400 MHZ. Instability may occur on some memory's . I had to lower it to 6200 MHZ. On other motherboards, the 6400 Mhz is stable. This is the first step to be able to achieve 4000 h/s. Then you have to put performance boost - Disable. A Precision Boost - Enable. Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) Enhancement - Disable. CPU clock Frequency - Auto. That's how, we will be sure that the speed of the processor will not exceed 4500 mhz for all cores. From there, the CPU consumption will not raise more than 100 watts. This variant works on new Asus and Gigabit motherboard for sure. But each model may have slight differences. From today on, we can be sure that the Rabid will increase its power by 1/3 if it follows my recommendations, and we won't be able to hit a block from it anymore :). However, if you have any problems, I will be glad if I can help. Share if it worked for you. Good luck to all miners!

Its in quarantine windows treats it like a virus you have to restore it and allow it or it will keep doing it even if virus is turned off it will turn back on and keep putting it there unless you allow it
i got "CPU RESULT REJECTED [low difficult share]" And in the start when it shows "Difficulty 5.00000000 [yespower] [0] it shows me 0.50000000 instead of 5.00000000. I have an i9 9900k

Bad --algorithm yespowertide (this is the default on the latest SRB miner release)
I had the same problem until I notice that the batch file the we copy has "yespowertide" you need to delete "tide" and use SRBMiner-MULTI.exe --disable-gpu --algorithm yespower, hope this solve your problem.
@martinmarkov3758 yes thankyou that is definitely where slot of people have issues definitely a good thing to chekc however for me I already have done this and have the same issues. But thankyou anyways 😊

Hey thanks for the video :)
i mine directly into the exchange for testing, but at what quantity are the coins transferred to the exchange? i can't find a setting in the pool where i can change or view this! can anyone help?
Will look should be a settings button
Yes Thanks min is 100 coins for payout to the Exchange 😁👍🏻👍🏻
in cpuminer use -t12 at the end of command line for number of threads
After start=0.8 ?
Will post settings when set up thanks
Sounds good
Its impossible to download cpu opt miner.. i have disabled all windows antivirus and still cant download. and with srb miner its not working.. so how to download cpu miner?
srb miner on ryzen 7800x3d has error - cpu result rejected - low difficulty share
Its in quarantine windows treats it like a virus you have to restore it and allow it or it will keep doing it even if virus is turned off it will turn back on and keep putting it there unless you allow it
Allow through firewall also
i did all that @@BLEACH500
i got "CPU RESULT REJECTED [low difficult share]"
And in the start when it shows "Difficulty 5.00000000 [yespower] [0] it shows me 0.50000000 instead of 5.00000000.
I have an i9 9900k
I had the same problem and then realized that I had used yespowertide and not yespower algorithm. Maybe that is the reason why you have CPU RESULT REJECTED .

The problem is that in Windows with 11 threads neither srb nor cpuminers give me more than 1200 hours and hiveos gives double that, why is it?

is verus mining no longer worthwhile?
What do the people who bought a lot of cell phones because of verus mining do? :-)
Nothing just verus never was a good idea why I didn't buy any lol sounds like arm is good on vish though.
From my testing i find out by luck that 8gb ram is minimum required under 8 it cut the hash rate by half 😮😮
Interesting
One of my rigs had a fail 4gb ram so only the other 4gb was working if not vishai i wouldn’t even notice that one is gone but i see on other rig same ryzen was 980h and on this one was 470h
