Thank you Trout. Again I could hardly follow the talking but Scott Brady's tough presence and acting is very apealing and that actress really reminds Rita Hayworth. Enough action, exteriors to make the whole thing entertaining and good image.resolution too! I would like to see him in a Western film role.
Luis ... as soon as I saw the girl, Mary Castle is her name, that's exactly what I thought, a Rita Hayworth double. I went and googled something like "does actress Mary Castle look like Rita Hayworth?" And sure enough, looking like Hayworth is how she got into the movies. Some hollywood agent said she looks more like Rita Hayworth than Rita does.
" Shotgun Slade " was a western series, that ScottBrady played a detective cowboy with a shotgun he used to protect himself and his clients. It was a unique storyline for the fifties series on television. Mr.Brady was very good in the part.
Not a very happy life for the gorgeous Mary Castle. In her early days, she did indeed resemble Rita Hayworth. Enjoyed this B Noir very much. I am a big Scott Brady fan.
The Turney Brothers, with Lawrence in the 1940s and younger brother who changed his name to Scott Brady both played movie tough guys with Scott in many tough but good guy roles and Lawrence usually a killer in his roles.
