This video was taken by me when I visited Hawaii and I was staying in a gorgeous Condo.
There're so many peacocks around inside of the Condo and living there all the time.
When I was little, I went to the Zoo with my mom to see the peacocks.
Every time my mom told me to dress something colourful to make peacocks get jealous to want to show off themselves because they're thinking they're the most beautiful creatures in the world! LOL
So I remember what mom told me and wanted to make a try that day. ;)
I wore a colorful dress to try to make peacock get jealous and show off himself!
I did a lot efforts which is not shown on this video though! LOL
I tried to move around to spread my dress in front of him and it def WORKED!!! :)

You're lucky. All the peacocks at my local zoo like to tease me whenever I have the video camera with me. They will look like they're about to put their feathers up, but then they don't. Once I even tried to imitate a peacock to see if it would put it's tail up, but all I did was attract the attention of a peahen.
Well, at least the peahen was interested.

Not really, there may have been a female around but not caught in the camera. In the background yoj can hear another peacock making a unique sound indicating hes abiut to mate, so therefore this peacock shown would have rushed towards her with a unique sound before trying to mount her. If he wanted to mate, he would have backed up closely to her while shaking his wings to woo her with his courtship dance.

Seen this in person at a zoo. It was gorgeous beyond belief. The videos don't even do it justice, as seeing the detailed micromovements and glitter of the light reflecting off the feathers in person produces such a dazzlingly beautiful effect.
