1st, let me just say you gave a Solid review covering several different terrains/conditions. Hard packed snow and ice will have most if not all m/t struggling for traction unless pretty heavily sipped. Generally speaking, when you have a high/low lug issue its more to do with the shock setup as opposed to the alignment itself. unless the tire is experiencing belt separation, its wear pattern will be a direct result of PSI,Alignment,Rotation,or Suspension. but again, solid review !!
I subscribed because instead of judging the tire in the first thousand miles, you actually went 50,000. And my philosophy is if you want to understand something.Go through the whole thing you went 50k miles then gave your opinion I’m definitely picking up this tire when I have the funds available
06:25 minutes : the driver of that heavy setup has tooc much air PSI in the tires to surmount that small snowy muddy ditch he spins in . Deflation + aggravating the steering more aggressively would have freed the truck. ( i have noticed "overland" guys never let enough air out & then think their tires underperform. Also, the wide separation of the G003 lugs pattern is what makes it so effective offroad but, this also lends itself to blocks often lug chunking from the lack of truss support across the treads ; this doesn't affect the tires performance over-all) 😉
This review coming from you means a lot! Appreciate it! 👍🏼 12:11 My all-time tire is the MAXXIS RAZR MT'S, ran them for 3 years best tire I have had-i run the California, Arizona, Nevada deserts- (I avoid snow). I have switched to KO2's on my Landcruiser and Toyo Hybrid on my 88 Hilux- I have to say the MT's are by far my favorite.
I've run these on my Tacoma and my Gladiator and it's one of my favorites. They're tough, quiet enough for an aggressive tire, and reasonably good tread life. They excel on all surfaces, don't hydroplane, and surprisingly good in light snow (heavy snow they do great as expected). The only reason I didn't get them this time around was the crowning. They just would not sit flat so they wore down the center 1/3 much faster than the shoulder blocks. I adjusted air up and down, lots of chalk tests, but it seems when they spin at higher RPMs, the crown, causing center wear.
I do agree with you 💯 👍 very nice opinion and speech. I am on the way to the opposite direction and gonna change into a MT after driving many years AT's, because all of them are not able to handle the muddy roads, even if we only drive short parts but to stuck "only" there it is worth to drive just a little bit slower on the road with MT's. Want to test the east premium: Sailun Terramax M/T have a closer look to them 😉
I have a 2001 F350 power stroke with 500000 miles on it. I will never get 50000 miles out of these tires. I tow a mini excavator almost every day. But I really like them a lot. My last 4 sets of tires have been Toyos, which I really like, but I think I'll get Yokohama's again. They've been a really good tire. And the price is better than the Toyos
I run General Grabber AT/X tires. So far they have been great, including in snow. Had BFG KO2s previously. They were great, too, but the BFG tires have a reputation for being smaller than the "same size" tire from most of the competition. Have you chosen your next tires yet?
I usually run the Toyos, but this time, my guy didn't have them, so I got the Yokohamas. They performed just as good so far as the Toyos, and the price was a couple 100 bucks better. I have an F350 with a diesel. There's no way I'll get 50000 out of them, but they perform just as good, and I'll get the same mileage out of them.

I ran the Maxxis Razr too and I thought it performed really well!

I have the Goodyear Duratracs on my jeep and so far they have been great off road and on road!!! Good review!!

good looking rig! great content also.
Are they scary on the road when it is raining?
No. Rain the tires perform well. On icy roads and hard packed snow roads the tires don't do as well because the lack of siping.

Yes I have and I will do a review once I get some miles on them.
What size are you running?
315x75r16
Any comparison to the toyo mt ?
I haven't had the chance to run Toyo yet so I don't know.

Did you intend to monetize this video? I didn't notice it being monetized.
