LEGO city undercover is a must play if you ever want to play more lego games, I played that game so much and loved every part of it, and its an original story thats not based off of a game. Again I would love to see you play this and keep up the good work with the platinum's!

I platinumed the first movie’s game a few months ago, I think the game is underrated but I think it was easy to platinum in a disappointing way, because while the levels were fun and had plenty of collectibles to get, I didn’t like how the open worlds were so small and only had red bricks for collectibles and characters wondering around to buy who you can just get on the character grid, no gold bricks. As for the sequel I refuse to play it because I’m not a fan of the second movie itself and I’ve seen clips of the game and the gameplay looks horrendous.
Don’t buy the 2nd, I hate it with a passion 100%’d it in 3 days and was bored and miserable the entire time. If you want Lego games to 100% that are worth it, cheap, and easy do the Lego Batman series: 1,2,3 it’s actually worth it, I 100%’d Lego Batman 1 and 2, and had an amazing time! The levels are a little difficult but worth it without a doubt! Lego Batman 3 has an insane character roster!

Fun fact: I tried playing the first lego movie game and wasn't enjoying it by the second level i then began debating whether or not i should continue playing only for the game to soft lock in the very same level and took it as a sign that i shouldn't bother continuing
Congrats Studdy. Not played these myself but I do enjoy a licensed Lego game. The Skywalker Saga, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 1 & 2, DC Villians, Jurassic World… all very fun. Also touching on your Valhalla trophy card, I just this second got the Platinum. 😁
LEGO Dimensions is hands down the best one imo… but its a toys to life game. If you are willing to either spend a lot of money, or create “fake” toytags with NFC chips, i 100% recommend that one
Enjoyed the video. Shame what happened with the save, but lucky it wasn't worse and didn't appear to set you back too far. Concern for corrupted saves is why I always manually upload a save to the cloud after ever session...just in case haha
Great video! Never got around to playing these two games but I can recommend 3 LEGO games that I enjoyed. Lego Jurassic World, Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Lego DC Super Villains. Can't wait to see what you do next!
I believe the issue with Lego 2 was that, after making so many games with the same formula as Lego Star Wars, they thought they needed to change things up.
This was the wrong idea to have, since most fans of Lego games by this point had grown _used_ to that old framework. _Expecting_ it even, as one would never want their comfort food to start "experimenting" with its flavor. So yeah, I was quite disappointed with it, and for that same reason will never pick up Skywalker Saga since they didn't learn the right lesson.
Skywalker Saga is ehhh but if you want a good the force awakens experience play Lego Star Wars TFW
i'd say the best lego games are the lego marvel games and lego dc super villains, highly recommend those ones if you want to plat more lego games!

This is so great to see as i have platinumed the first game twice (PS3 and PS4) and the second game and i enjoyed them a lot. It is also good that you are playing easy lego games and not unnecessarily hard and not very good games. (Just realised that i sounded like i was saying that the games you played are crap, i meant like the people who play tough and not fun games like 3 point gamer and nick ar)

Fun fact: most of the acheivement names are actually references to the movie (at least for the first one, I haven’t played the other one and don’t remember much about the second movie)
would definitely recommend lego jurassic world. i got all the achievements for it a couple weeks ago and it was a lot of fun and it stays pretty faithful to the movies. although, some of the collectibles can be a little hidden away/tricky to get. love your videos!
LEGO Pirates of the Carribean is honestly my favorite LEGO game
Currently trying to plat Lego The Skywalker Saga, the biggest Lego game released to date. It’s a grind.

I 100 %'d Harry Potter Year 1-4 for the DS in around 17 hours, simply because I could. I enjoyed having a game where no matter my skills, I knew 100 % would arrive eventually. I can't say that for every game.
The first one is just a blast to play with young kids I play it with my niece and nephew, they love it and I enjoy seeing them play

0:37 It may not be the right film, but it's the same universe. The film is acknowledged in the second one, stating that Batman was on his own adventure (the time frame between the end of the first film and the destruction of Bricksburg)
TLM1 is my favorite videogame and movie. Ive played it like 5 times cause i enjoy how they were able to make every mission unique yet match the canon story. Even adding extra missions like "The Deep", it never happened in thd movie but fit so well with plot. And unlocking Master Builder Emmett felt so rewarding since he cant build all game.
Then when i first got a switch i got TLM2 game and.....i hated it. I beat the first boss and never played again. I didnt even like the movie too much but as an avid Lego Movie fan i tried the game and hated it so much

You really should watch The Lego Movie so you get all the references in the trophies. Plus, It's just a fun movie.
As far as the games go, while I wasn't a huge fan of the first game it is far and away much better than the sequel. At least the first game tried to keep the fun of the movie alive and even used the actors from the movie in it. You get to hear Pratt and Freeman and Banks and Neeson and Ferrell, etc. The second game took EVERYTHING away from the first game. If I remember correctly there's barely any dialogue in the second game. That and it's boring as hell to play. It was a bit of a slog to platinum. It's by far my least favorite Lego game of them all and I've played a far few of em.
I remember finishing the last level of the lego movie game when it came out and crying because the will feral bad guy didn't become a good guy like in the movie.
It will take a TON of work but the skywalker saga is pretty good

Fun Fact: the LEGO games reuse as much code as possible from previous games, the gold laser blocks & the silver exploding bricks are seen in almost every game and work the exact same
which is also why The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game sucked so bad, insted of using the LEGO Star Wars framework it tried useing the LEGO Worlds framework
I think the original intention was the LEGO engine was starting too fall apart due to constant revisions over 2 decades so Traveller's Tales tried to pivot to a new engine, which failed horribly

The Lego Movie 2 Videogame took elements of the game Lego Worlds, which is an open-world sandbox game where players are free to do as they wish. It wasn't a good idea for the game to take that approach for sure. I highly recommend Lego Indiana Jones + Lego Indiana Jones 2, the Lego Batman trilogy, Lego City Undercover, Lego Marvel + Lego Marvel 2, Lego DC Super Villains, and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. All of them are typical Lego games, except Skywalker Saga, which tried some new combat mechanics, and looks better than most of the other games.
Honestly it's kinda sad that the old Lego Games don't have achievements/trophys, Lego Batman/Indiana Jones and Star Ward Complete Saga are real bangers. Even the DS Star Wars game, I can't remember how many hours I spend in this one with my cousin.
Meanwhile some of the newer ones seem so meh. Lego Movie 2 was just pain and bad, also tried Lego Batman 3. Not only do you need Caracter DLC, wich seem to cost another 15€, for Achievements, but also the way abilitys get handled over caracters was just so bad. 5 different caracters can have like 15 different abilitys, and it gets really hard to remembe wich one has what

Me and my boyfriend are trying to platinum every Lego game on both our accounts the most fun ones we did were Jurassic World, the hobbit and Harry Potter. We got the platinum for the first Lego Movie and it was alright but we tried Lego movie 2 and HATED it, we stopped playing like 15 mins in

I played a decent amount of Lego games by now. Didn't play the first one of this series, but did do the second one, and it's definitely one of my least favorites of all the Lego games so far. At least another 2 plats in the bag hahah✌🏾🦖
Im having so many issues getting collectibles in this game. im trying to get the platinum and im at like 75% but some pants like the ones on the flatbush rooftop or whatever its called is impossible, its so buggy

Lego Movie 2 looks like they were experimenting with the format used for Skywalker Saga and didnt bother to make it good because they were more focused on Star Wars

In my copy of the 2nd game, I got a bug that made an npc I needed to talk too to do literally anything, behaved like they were crushed by a car permanently, and I couldn’t talk to them, and no matter how many times I deleted and downloaded the game, every time I got to that part, which mind you was directly after the tutorial, so the start of the real “game”, I couldn’t progress at all. One more thing, it was in a part of the story where you literally couldn’t do anything, it locked you in to talking with this guy, who I couldn’t talk to.
The Lego Batman Games are super fun, would highly recommend

The first LEGO Movie game is my favorite LEGO game of them all, whereas the LEGO Movie 2 game is my most hated game of all-time. The latter even caused me to hate the film it's based on as a result.

How do you record platinums? I’ve been wanting to record some platinum trophy hunting but I just don’t know how to do it without just using the PS5 trophy captures. Do I need a capture card or something, and if so do I NEED a PC or is it optional?
this seems like something you should probably google, depending on your budget.
But I can tell you how I do it, of course I spent alot of money saved up over 10+ years.
I have my PS5 (obvs lol) and I have a PC, I use an Elgato Game Capture card for gameplay, Audacity & Microphone for commentary, and Logitech webcam for webcam.. all different programs running at the same time, so you need a decent PC. I then use Adobe for editing and thumbnails.
I already did The Lego Movie 1 platinum, but I will soon platinum Lego Movie 2
Certain characters doing certain things is a staple of Lego games. So it's interesting to know Movie 2 removes that aspect.
even I, as someone who never played lego games knew that it was about characters having certain skills, so I was truly let down how the 2nd game removed that feature
@@itsstuddy Admittedly, some games have removed it; but usually it fits the setting.
Lego Harry Potter for example is very different from the other games in the series, and rather than characters having unique abilities; everyone has spells. A few main characters have unique abilities, but most abilities are shared for the sake of the world.
Lego batman 2 is my fav and both lego Indiana games are great too I recommend those ones
