This message is a call for hope and for HER. I went to the Daughter Concert in Luxembourg with a friend on the Saturday 17/11/2013. While the concert was playing, I noticed a girl who was on my right, she was looking at me for about 30 seconds without keeping her eyes off me, I looked her quickly but I did not dare look at her any other time. The reason why I'm writing this right now is that something made me feel extremly strange, though I could'nt catch it during the concert; Yet when I went back home, as I lied on my bed, I sudenly remembered that I've already seen that girl, I'm pretty sure, It was 10 years ago as we were kids, she loved me but I was to shy to even express how I felt for her there.
I'm now an 18 year old boy and today I'm just torn appart for having been so shy again and let the chance run away.
Don't you feel sometimes like life's mocking you and reapiting things over and over again until you find the key to solve the problem?
TH-cam is maybe the last chance that I have to find her, or we will never even have a talk, we will just forget and begin another thing, I don't want this kind of thing to happen again, until I have a chance, until we have one, I will not let it fall down.

I hate the feeling being misunderstood. Almost everyone who knew me think I'm some dimwit dorky weirdo but the truth is I'm struggling with all the negativeness stacking in my life plus I have health issues that keeps me from reaching my real life goals. I can't really blame them since I was born stupid(how Ironic that I'm very passionate of being someone great). I'm sick of everyone looking down on me. And there is my strange problem, I have this urge to do or say things that is so wrong on many levels. I dunno, no matter how I suppress it I still do it almost everyday. I'm still aware of whats happening when I do it but my body moves by itself. My head is conflicting. It feels like someone else is controlling my body. I feel so frustrated that everyday this happens. Sometimes I just break down and cry. I'm already 19 years old I feel so pathetic. Add to the fact that guys aren't supposed to cry.

But I have some doubt I guess I've lost a bit of hope because my life has just gradually gone downhill since early childhood I've found friends to talk to and ways to drown out the hurt but all to often I just shut down under the smallest amount of pressure and just simply run away from it all because only when I'm running do I feel like I'm free from my anxieties but I know that no matter what I do it all will be there everything i fear that controls me will never leave me and memories of better times when I was only a blissfully unaware child keep me hoping that I could soon be that happy once again but time can take a toll on hope and I'm not sure life will ever be as good as it once was for me

First heard this song and heard of this band while travelling last year in Thailand in the Thai jungle. A french man Guillaume sang a beautifull version of this . good memories of the jungle noises in the backround as he sang this with just a guitar..

I remember being in the car with the window open and the wind in my face while listening to Daughter songs. It gave me feelings that i can't explain. Not sure if was sad or not, but listening to their songs now reminds me of these 'young and wild' moments of my life ~~ Now i'm just quiet in my room listening to others kind of music(mostly kpop). But I still love their songs so much

I just discovered them like a week or two ago and my favorites are smother, run, and candles. ..in that order. her voice is so comforting and her lyrics are so deep. you can listen to them when you're happy, sad, angry. it's. one of those kind of bands and I love them

ive been listening to Daughter since 2010. Now in 2018 I still don't get enough. Many years pass... People have left my life.. many heartaches many amazing yet sad moments but one thing I've always had to get me through was music like this. atleast I know one thing wont disappear. :*
I feel like this song is speaking to my heart. The lyrics reflect my thoughts, and my story. It's awesome how Daughter is close to real life, real suffering. In a kind of dark way, but it is.
