Techniquelly this guy is great, all the toys will say that his letters are ugly and the don't have the swagger that they see on the internet and that those letters look nothing like wildstyle letters. They don't know this is where you start, once you master letter structure and basic tags then move onto the harder styles, learning these techniques properly will make wildstyle pieces a hell of a lot more easier rather than just throwing up random letters and arrows that you think look cool.

Truly the best graffiti tutorial i've ever seen.
best advice so far structure is SO key. When I started I didn't know what ppl ment when they said structure. Then I went back to paper and kept screwing around, and started noticing the things that u have pointed out here.

i'm shocked and impressed. i went to college to learn what i know about drawing and painting now. i did an animation course because when i started i was 17 and had no interest in fine art, twenty now and appreciate it more because i'm interested in learning the techniques in fine art which obviously apply to all art in different ways depending on what your trying to achieve.

Im 14 and have been graffiting for about a year i would still class my self as a toy but your tutorials have really helped me out for my pieces and they have all had a real possitive outcome and good feedback from my friends, i would just like to say thankyou for your help as they have really improved me as a writer and hopefully i will keep growing in the hobbie! Your tutorials are the only ones that actually help at all, I just can't seem to get very creative with my letters.
You cant lose your own style. It can only come out when your skill becomes a secondary asset. You can only discover, develop and refine your style once you gain enough techniques and skills to explore styles. When i decided graff was a limited art, limiting my self expression, as i think you feel happened with your "loss" of style, i decided to find my true style...and after a few years of disapointing frustration, and lots of exploration , i now am at a satisfying place, exploring my own style.

I love the art just so much and I want to get better and make canvases but I feel till I improve to a point where I like my art most of my pieces but I can not stop trying to become as great as you someday. This video contains the ideas and techniques to be able to do any letter. My whole intention is to show them the ability to do it on their own. Figuring it out with this technique is a better way of learning than copying. The more someone is shown step by step the farther they will get from their own creativity and natural abilities, in my opinion

this actually helps me. i already know how to graffiti but i'm better with tagging and throwups. a few of letters i dont usually use i am weak on so this is a great technique i think i can try to better develop my form and style for letters i need work on.

Great tutorials. Really shows how graffiti is planned through multiple sketches and hopefully everyone knows that all great artist start with sketches not just beginners. Do u have any tutorials for turning tags into pieces and throw ups? Thanx again!

I think this is the best tutorial i've seen. It's hard to make a good tutorial about graffiti, because graffiti is about drawing letters and adding your own style. But i think you managed to make a pretty good tutorial for beginners. Big up!

Hey! Thats great to hear. it sound like you are enthusiastic and engaged in your learning process, and accepting of the way it is, which is great. Yeah, it takes a LOT of practice. All u can really do is try to make it fun, and just hang in there and be dedicated. You can ask any quesion on any video, theres no guideline. Being a "toy" is just part of the process of shaping who you are as an artist.

wow that sure is a lot of hate! I think people aren't understanding the focus here. This isn't a tutorial on how to develop your own style! Its all about that basic lettering, and how to increase it. I have learned a lot from this, and now I am able to advance. No where in this video is he saying how to develop style, you gotta do that shit yo self! But this is such a great tutorial that every writer should check out whether they are one week in or ten years in. Great work man.

- i'm shocked because in some of the videos you've talked about principals and techniques that my life drawing teacher talked about. i can draw pretty well and paint okay but always struggled with graffiti but after watching a few of your videos can see i was getting it wrong because i wasnt using what i'd learned with it, i took it as separate to drawing something like life drawing, i dunno why i did that really, changed how i'll approach it now completely. thanks an sorry bout the essay! ha
also from one letter you can create another letter i always start for a letter and use that to connect to my other letter and then on much props good video for the guys that need a little guidance!
I learned on my own. I get your point. But i also know how easy it is to give something up if u dont have any sense of hope. I like to shed a little lite on some basic principles so that the big picture can be simplified and not seem like such a big undertaking. So maybe more kids will keep pursuing the art and not quit all together after being arrested and paying fines etc. U can BITE this anyway. Im not giving style, im showing ideas and tools.
