      Please never have this narrator narrate again...
      It's God awful, I don't know why he thinks he should talk like that, in that manner where he uses inflection and intonation in a pattern...
      No matter what words he says, he keeps using the same inflection and intonation pattern and that is a big no-no in broadcasting and journalism...

    I remember when Ice-T talked about the first time he met Tookie.
    T said he was in his house watching tv when his girlfriend came inside from the front porch telling him a guy outside is hitting on her. Ice-T said he got up from the couch and went outside to confront the guy who was hitting on her. T said when he got outside, Tookie was in a lowrider parked on the curb starring him down. Ice-T went right back inside and told his girl "b!tch whachoo doin outside da house?".

In fact, when I was 13, I bought a shirt that said free Stanley "Tookie" Williams, and because of the people who really knew who he was, they always gave me respect, never asked if I was banging, just said respect because of the good word he was trying to spread. I love brotha Stanley Williams story, but it breaks my heart to think that we could still use him today on this earth for something better than just being a G in some people's eyes. • @SHAYDEE3
      @SHAYDEE3 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @THANOS THEE TITAN yes sir saves by his grace..If you know anything about Tookie and his grandmother and his early upbringing you will know he did in fact know Jesus.. And his close friends have said as much about him. I can give you a rundown about names in the bible who fell short by man's standards and by the Lord's standard most importantly and GOD used them in a mighty way. Including David and Moses who were also murderers...Also you never know what Tookie confess in his heart that's between him and GOD (deathbed confession) like the thief on the cross. GOD gave us that example for us to understand the unlimitness of his mercy and grace, that even in the last minutes or seconds of life the hope in his CHRIST sacrafice was available to us. So to say this and that about GOD and who he chooses to accept or not accept and that he will punish Tookie and Tookie will be judged and condemned to hell is WRONG. It's ts not up to us to say, but SOLELY left up to the Righteous GOD. GOD instructs us to worry about our own salvation. I have hope for Tookie and I pray that he repented and is in the presence of the LORD as well as all the victims to gang violence. And I pray that Tookie's gang intervention and speeches and books continue to steer youth away from gang life.

      IF it was that easy no one would be involved, many are born into it and don't really realize the life they think is normal in their small world is not normal at all. I was born into a neo biker club. I was 27 when I realized what I was doing wasn't normal and I needed to find a way out. White groups are easier to walk away from and my mother got 10 years in prison my "stepdad" got life and several other members got hit hard in what was a relatively small chapter to a small club I got away with no charges and been free and sober ever since. Life doesn't always work out the way we expect it to.

    I have read Tookie's book " Blue Rage Black Redemption which is a very interesting and brutally honest account of his life and the Crips. In the book he states that he regularly smoked PCP and that he was high the night the murder of the elderly couple happened. He states that he has no memory of what happened because he was high. I really believe him because people on PCP are usually completely out of touch with reality. IMHO he didn't commit those murders but was setup by law enforcement and betrayed by his fellow gang members for their own selfish reasons.

    • @kumarj4693

      Dude, Tookie was a murderer, he knew it, everyone around him knew it. That in jail he got time to reflect and become a better person, is besides the point. That he didn’t sell out on anyone to save his own skin, that speaks volumes about his integrity than anything else. He was executed for the way he chose to live his life before time caught up with him.

It’s good he managed to get his voice out to the youth and convince some that the gang life is ultimately pointless, but he nevertheless had to face the consequences of killing those innocent people.

    I don’t know why he is writing the books or if his genuine, but the fact that he holds to his innocence even when found guilty of his crimes, means two things either his an innocent men that needs to be free now, or his guilty as sin and till this day will not take responsibility for his actions. If his guilty and still shows no remorse, nothing about him has change and he needs to pay for his crimes.
