- Melvin "Skull" Farmer and Juice talk about growing up in James Garrett's home on 84th Street during the Westside Crip and early Eight Tray Gangster Crip era. James Garrett eventually moved to 104th Street and St. Andrews with his wife Esther to a house that Stanley Tookie Williams spent a lot of time in. Tookie used to lift weights in the back of the house with other Westside Crips and it became a known hangout. In 1979, James Garrett turned over a shotgun that was purchased by Tookie to the police and told the police that Tookie had killed the three Chinese people at the hotel on 104th & Vermont and he became the star witness of the trial.

South central It’s centrally located to the major amenities in LA, downtown, LAX airport, the beaches, etc. The new Inglewood metroplex which will be a major mixed use commercial business/residential center just broke ground near LAX. That place used to be a dump where blacks lived, now it will retail commercial square footage at an extraordinarily high lease rate. Black residents sold and are selling for pennies on the dollar, not realizing that they literally have/had a gold mine under their feet. This started roughly 5-7 years ago as African Americans wanted to purchase newer fabricated homes in communities outside of South Los Angeles.
Also the new Rams stadium in Inglewood and the soccer stadium next to USC which has raised the property value along with rent which is a big reason lower income ppl can no longer afford to live in these areas.

Bodies around Normandie, Florence, Vermont would take a lot of pins to pinpoint. It was an uncovered grave yard with no head stones. Good luck solving anything in that area from those days!
This is a murder that took place in the 70's, a time when murders in LA weren't nearly as common as they eventually became. I'm sure Alex has long figured it out by now with the info given here.
