I have been stressed to get everything done the night before or the day of but not this time. I got 4-30 racks wired up so far. I plan on having all the fusing for the racks done by the weekend. I'm relaxing poolside and BBQing until its time to set up for the show. I fused some saturn missiles like your doing and it takes them to another level. I always make sure I face the cake fuse towards the direction of the lighting point. congrats on 500!!
That’s a great idea! Unfortunately PP’s website is being updated so I’m still waiting for him to get it up so I can get my list and buy my stuff. I got a cheap 12 cue system and I’m gonna do 12 boards with like 3-4 500 gram cakes on each. It’ll be like a single fuse show expect broken into 12 sections, so if something happens in one section it won’t screw up the entire show. I may use this technique, it looks like a good idea. I have some Aluminum foil tape that I may be able to try this with. Thanks!
Nice technique. That gray goes fast tho. Hope it doesn't blow past the visco. I usually only do 4 cake sets, so I extend the fuses and make a dynamite bundle tip. That's so I ensure simultaneous firing.
It does burn very fast. I've had it blow past using zip ties alone. With the tape I've had awesome success. I forgot to mention a cut the tip of the cake fuse to ensure a successful ignition.

@@oakcitypyro Thumbs up. I cut every fuse at an angle if I want fire to pass. Video still won't play for me. Not sure what's going on????
