Don’t apologise for explaining stuff about the mod! I really appreciate it because there isn’t a lot of consolidated info and it makes playing it more accessible :) defo gunna check this one out now
I am delighted to see you playing TFN. I love this mod. - The way to min-max lockpicking and hacking is to do all of the lockpicking and hacking that costs a humanity at one time. Then dance to grind humanity back up. And also save some humanity quests for after your hacking and lockpicking run. - I feed mostly on rats when I play TFN. NPCs have X-ray vision, and violations are unavoidable. Of course, you have to get at least one masquerade violation to see whats-her-name for her quest. - You can activate bloodbuff for lockpicking in alyssum. You first must start the lockpicking animation, and then after it starts, activate Bloodbuff. Works the same way in the vanilla game. - Blood Heal 3 completely changes the game. It is the very fast speed of healing that will keep you alive, more than the duration. And at 3 the speed is great. At 5, I think it is unlikely that you can die. - This is a mod that I have to play slowly, and every step must be calculated. And that is what I enjoy. The plan for this mod came from the Requiem mod for Skyrim, which is one of the best games (mods) that I have ever played. So if you like this mod, you might also like Requiem.
Thank you for the feedback! The violations were hard to deal with during this playthrough, mainly because of the hunters and additional blood spending. After every episode, I analyzed the sheet and the quests to see what I could do and what I needed to skip or try to do using different methods, so it was more complex than the base game for sure. I know Requiem, but I'm no good at skyrim, so I wouldn't make it, probably. Thank you for watching!
This is a very interesting mod! Thanks for sharing. :) Also those that are wondering (sorry if it was stated but didn’t catch it) the song in the beginning is called As Shadows Fall by Peter Gundry from The Shadow’s Bride. Excellent choice in song!
Have to say, watching you look into the corner on the pier, possibly for items- and simply ignoring the shadowy person right in the corner was hilarious. Now I gotta finish the tutorial section of the clan quest mod (and the mod itself) and get back to this gem you showed me. Or the quantum mechanics book I keep meaning to read.
@@JRFO292 When you install final nights, the installer adds the pdf of the mod in the vampire folder, and in that document you will probably be able to find that info. As far as I know, the bigger vtmb mods (war games, final nights, antitribu, etc) are not compatible with each other, and minor mods (like the ones that add models, new music, textures, etc) usually are compatible with those, but check the document for further clarification beacause I'm not 100% sure. Thanks for watching!
Man I love this game and for whatever reason I had no idea such intricate mods existed for it. I knew there were gameplay patches but that’s it. Is it hard to find and install?
It's very easy, all you have to do is to type Vampire Final Nights modDB on google, the first link will take to the page of the mod in the VTMB section of the Mod Database website. On this page, click on the "files " option in the header to go the download page, download the mod and install it on top of a vanilla version of Bloodlines from either steam or GOG and that's it, the opening menu is different so you will know right away if the installation worked or not. I'm playing the 1.6 version, so there's also a hotfix for it in the same website (1.6.1), so just install the hotfix after the mod and you're good! Welcome back to LA my friend, and thanks for watching!
hey garcia, i wanted to ask you how will you react if the communtity decides to make a bloodlines fan remake like redemption reawakened or the unlikely happens which is xbox for some reason decides to do it themselves with paradox since they own the majority of the game's IP
Hello! I love modded content and all the older games I play I do so using mods, so I would definitely support a fan made remake or even an official one. That said, I would trust the fan made one way more than one made by Paradox, Microsoft or anybody else really, and the reason is very simple: Bloodlines is one of those games that you have to "get it" in order to truly appreciate and understand why it is such a (flawed) masterpiece, it's not really just about graphics, performance or gameplay, there's way more to it than that. An official version would have way better graphics, gameplay, etc, but probably would lack atmosphere, creativity, interesting new ideas and the heart of the original, while the fan made one would be way closer to the original experience in those aspects, therefore being a better Bloodlines game, even if it's not as technically sound. But more bloodlines will always be great! Thanks for watching!
@@GarciaKindaPlays77 yep completely agree with you on the idea of an official remake might turn out bad especially if it was handled by an unexperienced team but i wouldn't consider giving it to obsidian or inxile a bad idea at all in the contrary it should turn out great. Obsidian still has experienced talent with josh sawyer fnv's director and tim cain, the latter was already the lead programmer in original bloodlines so out of all people. To sum it up xbox game studios collaborating with paradox on an official is a fantastic idea with huge potential for the entirety of wod and i hope somehow someway it happens
It's available on the moddb website, just google vampire final nights moddb and the first link will take you to the mod page. Have fun, and thank you for watching!

@@GarciaKindaPlays77 sweet, got it up and running. do you know if there is anything similar to this with Lasombra as a playable clan?
@@kylepask4989 You can play as a Lasombra in the Antitribu mod as well!
