Rise of the guardians would definitely be a good watch. It’s easily my favorite dreamworks movie, I rewatch it every year. Haven’t done it this year, so it would be a nice watch-along.
I feel like this version gets unfairly dunked on like I know it's not the Jim Carey version but I think it's fun and pretty! And anything with Benedict Cumberbatch doing fun voices is a win for me 🤣
I think its funny because back when the jim carey one came out critics hated it and people thought it was horrible. Meanwhile all the milleniels loved it and passed on that love to gen z now its a classic
So you like the Grinch's rap? Or him twerking? Or Fred the reindeer who is not that cute or funny? Or the screaming goat? To me, thoses elements are annoying. If they were not in the movie, he would be better 🙂
I remember a sad theory about the live action and how the Grinch got Max: since all the Whoville's trash ends up at the Grinch's home after the holidays (the chute that leads to the mountains), the theory is that Max was an unwanted gift that got thrown away. 😢
I actually really liked this version. I loved that they were able to go more wacky with everything because it was animated like the original Grinch cartoon
I love how Billy learned how to put his talking into a little circle while the movie still playing instead of the movie just having to play it’s so much better❤🎉
I rarely do it cause of copyright. But I’m going to keep seeing what they let me get away with in 2024. If they get strict I gotta go back to good ole faithful
I prefer Billy in a lit room, because I have difficulty seeing in dim lighting/ low contrast environments. In the dark room, I can't really make out his facial expressions. Also, I like the Jim Carrey version better, but this one is still pretty good.
I'm glad you loved this remake Billy. It's different from the original, but in a good way. Talking about food for the holiday, since we always end up with trays and trays of food from extended family members, my family just orders some sheet pizzas for Christmas Eve, then we're set with options into the new year 😊
If you want a straight up evil grinch to earn that heart growth, watch the original animation. It’s only, like, 20 something minutes long. ‘Tis a classic. A Christmas must-watch for my family is Christmas Vacation. Imo, it’s the best of all of the Vacation movies. I also try to make room for Die Hard and Lethal Weapon, which are both set at Christmas time. Both are extreme debates on whether they’re actual Christmas movies, lol.
Billy If you remember when the grinch in the Jim Carrey version ,explained the situation about all the gifts getting tossed in the trash and they all went to him when they no longer wanted them Max was one of those gifts that got tossed in the trash they never outright said it though that’s why max was constantly in the Christmas spirit
5:36 my auntie got pregnant and immediately said she was only gonna do it once so my uncle better hope it was twins. It was twins 😂😂 and she HATED being pregnant with twins too cause she was MASSIVE, according to my grandad her stomach was so big and the skin was stretched so much, it looked like it would split if you ran your fingernail down it 🤢😭
I love illumination's grinch! 💚 Jim carrey's version might be nostalgic, but this one in my opinion is more enjoyable. And I love that it's directed by the same people who made despicable me.👏👏👏 A christmas movie that I watch every christmas is the christmas chronicles! If you haven't seen it, i totally recommend it! And the sequel!
Thank you for staying consistent with your videos. I’ve had a wild year of high ups and ultimate lows. Certain situations that I could’ve avoided but you know mistakes happen in life sometimes. Also, I have a theory that the grinch makes his money by creating all the inventions in town, whoville. Look at all the things he created to steal Christmas, and that's why the town likes him in THIS version tho.
Well with my Puerto Rican family every year during the holidays especially around Christmas We always have our traditional ( Arroz Amarillo con gandules)Yellow Rice with pigeon Peas with our Popular Pasteles ( made from green plantain and added chicken and potatoes ) some other people would add raisins or Olives that I don't like. And also Pernil ( A beautifully seasoned slow cooked piece of pork becomes fall-apart tender in this traditional Puerto Rican holiday recipe.
Not only was Benedict Cumberbatch voicing The Grinch in this movie but he also did the voice of Smaug in The Hobbit Desolation Of Smaug and The hobbit Battle Of The Five Armies and yes he is also Doctor Strange
My nieces are fraternal twins, and thats exactly how they are ...complete opposites...w I use to watch them when they were 2yrs old, one would be asleep, while one would be crying lol...and as soon as one stopped crying and fell asleep the other woke up! 😂😂😭😭 at least I was just the auntie and could give em back to mom...
I'm not a fan of all the remakes lately but I understand for the younger kids. The animations gives it more life in a way lol & The lights off is a vibe
Love your seasonal videos! #bingers if you do anymore please watch Klaus it’s definitely a new Christmas classic for me! Could also try Christmas With The Coopers, Arthur Christmas & Muppet Christmas Carol❤️🎄

I have issues with touching strangers but I will give a hug to others when they need it. A customer came in one night, needing an over the counter inhaler. I didn't have any in stock but called another store, to see if they had one. We were on the phone for 5-10mins waiting for the answer. They told me they had one and the customer was so thankful because it was for his 5yr old nephew. He said, "thank you so much, I could hug or kiss you!" I smiled and told him I could give him a hug. I almost cried then and am crying now.
One of my go-to Christmas movies is the Muppets Christmas Carol ❤ definitely my favorite version of a Christmas Carol as well as in my top 5 favorite muppet movies❤❤ love the costumes, music and Michael Caine as scrooge
Back in the day during christmas they would sell candied fruits to children called sugar plums. Magoo's a christmas carol, spirited, and it's a wonderful life
I’m Swedish. We have a buffet of different food on Christmas. Meatballs, potatoes, a potato gratin with fish in it (called Jansson’s Temptation), different kinds of pickled herring, smoked salmon, ham, eggs and small sausages (called Prince Sausage). And that is just a few things. We eat the same thing for Easter.
Wool turtle neck sweaters are just everyday wear in winter time in the Midwest and Northern states. Or at least it was in the 80s and 90s when I grew up there. I've been in the desert for the last couple of decades, so I couldn't tell you what they wear now.
Arthur Christmas is the first Christmas film my family and I watch we know the entire script word for word it’s so amazing, I would run home after school on December 1st and I would run into the lounge and put Arthur Christmas on make my parents and brother a hot chocolate and by the time I got back into the lounge everyone was there (they get home a couple minutes later than I do) and then we sit down and watch the movie.
I love this version of the Grinch, the Jim Carrey one and the original cartoon. They were all made so well and I love the Grinch and the story annd the book... soo if they can do another version as good as all 3 of the others then give it to me
My family is very Italian on my dad's side and so our Christmas dinner typically consists tons of different types of Italian foods. It's the best thing ever.

Billy I’m so sorry to be the one to tell you but the answer to how the grinch got max (the dog), is through the whovilles trash… he only gets his stuff from their unwanted trash… Someone had to have thrown him away because the grinch definitely would not go out looking for a dog. He wanted to be alone. Love your videos so much they never fail to make me laugh.
