  • In today's Japan Walking Tour video, we will walk around Sakae Station (栄駅) in Nagoya, Japan.
Sakae Station is known as a large subway station near the main Nagoya station, and there are many famous fashion shops, restaurants and entertainment areas for young people around here.
At night at Sakae Station is especially bustling with many young people coming here for shopping and entertainment. Especially, the reopening activity of Hisaya-odori park after a long time of closing and repairing has increased the number of people coming here to enjoy.
Not only famous for Nagoya TV tower or Oasis 21, but Sakae Station is also known as a shopping paradise.
Enjoy this Japanese night walk to discover the fun of everyday life in Japan.

Japan is a fantastic country, to be honest! They are humble, hard working, punctual, clean and smart! I hope one day I can visit this beautiful country. :)

10/19/2020: Aloha from Hawaii. Thank you so much for sharing with us your life in Japan. Japan is such a beautiful place with beautiful ppl, traditions and customs. The most interesting thing is how we ALL must wear masks...covering our SMILES :). GOD bless you. Take care and thank you once again.

I lived there 25 years ago, I don't recognize anything but the tower, it's sadistic because the place I lived doesn't "exist" anymore.
