Love your tips! 💗 Even though I personally get paid biweekly and just divide my bills by 2, this opened up my mind to see other ways of managing my finances. At the end of the day, as long as the bills are paid, I’m satisfied!!! Coming from someone who used to struggle to pay monthly bills, I no longer struggle because I am organized and they are priority.

Thank you so much for sharing, & I think your 3 tips are the most important as to how to budget. Although like TBM says we also need to realize that our budget correlates to our emotional state and well being. So when starting the journey we need to have a clear thought as to why we want to budget. When I first started my goal was strictly to become debt free. As a single mother of 2 paying off my debt was a priority while my kids were young. Which was great until I became debt free, but now I struggle to balance my budget to pay all my bills but still have fun with my kids. You are right everyone's budget is a personal budget, comparison is something that happens a lot when someone first starts to budget even years after. Be aware that not all our budgets will look alike but tracking your own progress helps motivate you and see the changes that have been made in your life. It is okay to readjust and shift your priorities. 💕💕💓💓💗💗

Is the actual column what you actually put in your envelopes? Or what you actually spend?

Actual column is actual withdrawal! 99.9% of the time the cash I take out for my envelopes and sinking funds stay the same!
