Another way to get past him with a Hunters Axe +6 with no points in strength or skill. With good gems it's high base damage is strong enough for this fight. Put All your levels into life and endurance. After you beat him you can start putting points into bloodtinge.
This video appeared to me after I spent 6 full hours dying to him over and over, same build and all, but I was using a +3 whip. I've never suffered so much lmao, ended up grinding and getting it by mostly parries. Still I super appreciate and admire how you did it! Thank you ♡

Strafing left is really cool when you are situated lower on the rooftop slope than he is, because when that's the case, all of his scythe swings will miss.
Great Video. I was struggling last night with my bloodtinge character, almost identical stats, low level. I'll try bone marrow instead of visceral since that does more damage.
I say have around 25 skill and have Rom dead so you can have 2 Clawmark runes. I think that makes him laughably easy, especially in the second phase. You do around 1800 damage on viscerals, and at a certain range, all he'll do is the same simple scythe swing which can be easily parried. In the second phase, he stops spamming magic and only does easily parryable melee attacks. On a level 70 character, this was the only boss I beat in one try. But on a level 30 character, you really need to know what you're doing.
Stats: Vitality - 34 Endurance - 32 Strength - 30 Skill - 20 Bloodtinge - 10 Arcane - 10 Any advice 😹 still on my first run, got the game last year but I was busy with other games
@@ScrodumHat I wouldn't be that sure. I read somwhere that it doesn't matter what lvl you are, the enemies damage is the same. Checked info if you wish to level up to max possible lvl ;)
I got home and tried him again, beat him, it was a close one. He summoned 3 swords rains in a row, I let the third one sit there and if my last parry didn't turn into a visceral, would have been the end. Hopefully I got the video saved. I saved a video, not sure if it kept the fight though.
Para Norm Sorry for the late response. Repeating Pistol will always deal more upfront damage than the Evelyn because it actually uses two bullets per shot. Evelyn deals more damage per bullet per se so if you're looking to deal high damage and save bullets, Evelyn is the way to go. I can't remember exactly where I got those gems from but I know it was before Byergenwerth.
Saechao Plus Finally did it lol. Had to increase my Vitality to level 10 though to stop some of his magic attacks from one hitting me. I also had around 10 more levels in Bloodtinge than you but meh, I'm just happy I got it over with tbh haha. Having a lot of fun with my Chikage

I rushed him and give him no gap for the first phase, and parry all his attack, he is way to parry easier than gascoigne

Repeating Pistol? Did testing and Evelyn does around the same damage but uses only one bullet.
Evelyn can be found at that area... doesn't matter early or not lol
also get two claw marks...
You can get the Ritterpalash there early, but you have to kill Logarias for the Evelyn
You don't have to kill him for Evelyn, its in a chest at the very beginning of the castle.

Depends on the build you want. You should be fine as long as you upgrade the weapons that correspond to your playstyle/build.

no bosses scale by level but every boss outside of chalice dungeons scale with ng+

+Seamus O'Hara the bloodtinge softcap at 25 so in a bloodting build push it to at least 25 in this fight for the maximum damage per shot.
