I remember now when Eddie first came but you couldn't show his face and you called him buddy. He had to wear a head brace that looked more like a cast. His first haircut, lizzie going school first. Thanks so much for sharing your family with us and teaching PEOPLE that fostering and adoption means loving children. Putting aside so many myths...Kim Thank GOD for you.

Hey Kim, as s mother of 4 I understand the demands of raising children. My youngest is 16. The others are adults and not at home. You have a great blessing of being able to make a living on your own time doing what you like. I have also workef in what i like. I have worked in retail now for over 20 years, and I've seen the heavy inpact of what shopping online has created for the brick and mortar stores. I, too, buy online, but i do make the effort to buy instore first. A lot of stores have closed, and jobs are being lost . Maybe you could shop smaller or mom and pop stores a little more. The kids may enjoy going to the store and picking out a gift and wrapping it. Also I'm sure they could use the business more that Jeff Bezos. 😅 Not trying to tell you how to shop its just a thought from a retail person.

You should try to schedule your kids to play outside even if it is only for half an hour. Kids are full of energy and they are force to sit passively in school for roughly 6 hours 5 days a week and tack on that with the bus ride home. They are like mini working adults with 9-6 jobs .It's why they some times fight when they get home. All that pent up energy with no place to go. Not only that a little play is good for their mental and physyical health. Keeps their mind sharp.
Kim I’m praying for you to pass all ur medical test with flying colors. As far as play. I give my daughter 1 hour to play, watch tv or phone time before starting homework. They gotta have some down time. Imagine going to work for 8 hrs a day and then coming home and still gotta work from home and then go to bed. That would become stressful I would think. This year her teachers aren’t big on homework but last year she’d come home and have 3- 4 hrs of homework and then it’s dinner bath and bed. She felt so stressed without downtime.

I feel ya on the MRIs. I've had about 8 of them for my brain. After my brain surgery they put me in that machine without earplugs!! I felt like I was in war zone blasting gun shots in my ears! It was horrible! Second surgery 4 years later, I cried and begged them to give me earplugs first. Thankfully, they did, it wasnt as bad as my first surgery mri. That was 21 years ago. Seizure and tumor free. 🎉🎉praise Jesus!😂😂😅 You will get through it all too. Just believe.
I wonder: do you at least get earplugs for the MRI? The first time I got one I was sedated and the second time, I got thick earplugs and even then it was still pretty loud…
No. He has a cage, but he is not kept in it. @mione134 is correct…. It’s used for when I make food and when I clean. Ohhhhh, and also when I am cleaning his litter box because he likes to jump in it while I am cleaning it (I guess he is calling himself helping me) I tell the kids to distract him or play with him, but it doesn’t work, because the minute he hears me messing with litter… he comes running! 🤣😂💜

When I get my mri they give me headphones and I usually listen to worship music.
