If you had millions of people with George's bitterness, insecurity, paranoia, contempt, self-loathing, and general hostility toward anyone happy, and you put them all in the same place, it would be called Reddit.
The end of the episode shows Sid and Ben having the same conversation Jerry and George had in the beginning, showing what they would be like at their age.

2:08 In just about every episode, Jerry expresses his contempt for the human race. Why would Jerry help the very thing he hates? That's like saying I should help spiders.
Does anyone remember the name of the episode where Kramer, along with Jerry, is walking down the sidewalk and says to a woman, "Why don't you just give up?" much to Jerry's dismay. Thank you very much!
This episode is weird to me because I watched Seinfeld eps like 3-4 times a day on cable my entire teenage years and I somehow never saw this ep until the box set came out years after the show ended. This and the nonfat yogurt episode were never shown on reruns for whatever reason.
@@emiach Would your local station ban them for any reason? For instance, the non-fat yogurt episode implies use of curse words, although they were obviously censored, even on the dvds.
"Life's too short to waste on you". That's some real life-changing philosophy!
Not really!
lol that's what I tell my ex and sometimes people I have disagreement with, I don't have time to argue with them, I just leave lol

That is one great classic memorable line.
And yet he hangs out with George
Georges face was hilarious after that zinger!

Jerry is right. Seeing George miserable or in pain is always a great way for us viewers to start the day
Unless you're reminded of yourself, in that case 🙂🔫
Eternal comedy without vulgarity. Best ever.
George: "I was raised to give up. " 😅😅
"I'm just like you...only succesful", that wasnt friendly banter, Jerry just went out for blood, poor George
It was very fair
George needs to help people. I mean, he can sense the smallest ounce of human suffering
