Even there is no proper definition of spirituality ,people often tend to give subjective definitions of it
There is no methodology to check whether your claims are true or not in spirituality
There is proof. At least in advaita vedanta, the philosophy is nothing more than what you experience as a common man!

If we observe and study subtly and deeply, Science is the creation of spirituality, when science was not highly discovered before in ancient times, everything was getting discovered of universe by rishis through the spirituality. There were connecting their inner world to the universe. And then science was came throught this in west which was much focused on outer world, where they want proof of the things that how everything is formed around them. And they created to created theories of multiple equation where they got proofs to this. But however it was just the limitations. They can't go beyond that. But in spirituality, there is beyondness, we can go beyond the universe too and experience the divine and the ultimate truth of universe that science is still leading too and they will too reach their but it will be late. 🙏
Its because the Humans are still evolving, in terms of brain folds and cranial capacity, as one example - Some people do study pure physics but cannot retain it for a long time. Perhaps, that's why people don't marry within gotras so that any inherited degeneracy (Mental, PHyscial, Spiritual) is not expressed.

It's something similiar to a singularity, noone can explain it! It's a point where both subjective and objective reality merges into one. A point where time itself becomes meaningless! Idk what the abrahamic religions says but in our eastern philosophies the goal is to merge with that supreme reality thus ending all the sufferings that we face in this physical world!
