As for all their employees buying homes that’s great but when I looked for homes in that area it wasn’t what you think. Long drives and living in the middle of nowhere. I grew up eating this cheese, I still eat it today. I have noticed that it has gotten a little smaller than it used to be and inflation has increased its price. But nothing beats the flavor and I’ve tried other brands but always go back to Cacique products ❤❤
My sister worked for them before they moved. She was offered a job in the new Texas plant. She couldnt move for low wages! Then when it came time to close the plant, she got a 2 day notice. She got a severance package, but I dunno. Left a bad taste in my mouth

California has that Oaxaca cheese, Baja/Sinaloan fish, Pacific coast legacy and the Manila galleon that connected Acapulco with the Philippines. That's why there are Mexican music genres like the chilena from Chileans stopping in Oaxaca on their way to the California Gold Rush and why the creation of mezcal is also thanks to Filipinos.
