Holy shit this entire cast was insane, the vocals and acting made it feel like I was watching an official Mean Girls production. Cady, Karen and Regina were unbelievable (I'm probably biased bc Karen is my fave character but this actress absolutely killed "Sexy")
This has got to be the best Regina in a high school production I have ever seen and honestly, one of the best performances in a high school production I have ever seen. I am in AWE of how perfectly she nailed the character from the second she appeared on stage. Her vocals were immaculate - absolutely stunning performance. I truly, truly hope that she was submitted for a Jimmy Award for this. I will be playing that World Burn on repeat for a while. (The breath control on "mean" before the choreo break OH MY GOSH) Not sure why I'm not seeing Damian get more love! He has some impressive pipes on him - Where Do You Belong was soooo gorgeous omg. The Janis/Damian/Cady trio w as excellent in Revenge Party. Great chemistry and great vocal blending. Cady in general was so damn likable and so easy for audiences to resonate with. Stupid With Love was beautifully acted and sung. She worked excellently with every actor on stage - she was the perfect choice for the role. Janis was also perfectly cast - Lizzy Caplan energy and all of her stand out solo moments were true stand outs. Shout out to Aaron for being able to hit those high notes! He had great chemistry with both Regina and Cady which is important for the role. Karen was a great dancer and omg those Sexy riffs! Gretchen played the role with quirkiness and added those neurosis that make Gretchen Gretchen. I found her voice really enjoyable to listen to as well! The casting department and costume team deserve their flowers as well. Congrats on a great production!
WOW! This is such a great review and I feel so happy just reading it. The cast/crew put so much work into this production. Hard to believe rehearsals were only 3 weeks long (including tech week). The crew and production teams were amazing. The talent in this show is legit and like you mentioned, Laura (Regina), Lily (Karen), Gabbie (Gretchen), Charlie (Aaron), Christian (Damian), and Kamryn (Janis) were all on point. Speaking of Jimmy Awards, Christian (Damian) was one of the finalists for Best Performance by an Actor.

out of every mean girls show i’ve seen on here this one is by far the best!! ur set is on point, the lighting, the mic’s & sound, everything is literally perfect. ur guys comedic timing is AMAZING and everyone was casted so perfectly omfg. u guys all embody the characters so well, cady did such an amazing job at being awkward and new, gretchen’s hyper/spazzy attitude is done so funny, like the perfect amount of crazy 😭. karen is hilarious and isn’t playing it so dumb that it’s lost the humour, regina is played SO amazing and the pipes on her are crazy. u guys are all going somewhere if y’all pursue acting. p.s damian was amazing & he has the best comedic timing omfg same with janis.
The girl who played Cady is so beautiful I was worried about her being able to pull of the whole "unpopular awkward loser" vibe in act one but her acting is so phenomenal it completely worked! This is one of the best productions I have ever seen! Everyone is so insanely talented
This cast made me fall in love with this musical. Props to you for playing Cady!!! I really liked your performance and you're amazing at singing! You should definitely do Broadway or movie musicals when you're older! Not to mention, the plastics were amazing, I loved all of their performances as well!!!
Mean Girls (US Tour) is the first musical that I watched live! Thank you for your kind words and the Plastics are amazing! Since you mentioned it, a few years ago, I actually auditioned and got callbacks for Netflix's 13 the Musical (Kendra role) and Broadway's Beetlejuice (Lydia role). Didn't land the roles, but I'm so grateful for that experience!
This is probably the best high school production I've seen, of any musical. The main cast was stellar and the ensemble was incredible. The vocals, choreography, and comedic timing were all top notch. Took me a minute but I did recognize your Damian from the Jimmy Awards. Still can't believe this was high school, you're all stars☺

Can't belive I happen to stumble on this. For real, it's SUPERB! Even more if you take into account that they're only high school students. Such talents! Here in Brazil we might have some talents as well but sadly we don't have the same level of investment on schools and production like that (even professionals struggle to live from art since it's not very valued here plus, and I gotta talk about politics, some government incentive program like "Rouanet's Law" is frequently attack by right wings as they think artists are "stealing" public money. It's a shame). All in all, congrats to everyone involved in this play!

I’ve watched so many different versions of Mean Girls but when I mean y’all killed it, I mean it!!! The most insane version of this show! Every character killed it though my favorite was Regina! My favorite song in this musical is someone gets hurt, and it was the most entertaining version of it I have ever seen the vocals were on point, and the character and intention behind everything was perfect. I’m so expressed this whole cast is going a long way!!! And don’t get me started with the connection between the girl who plays Regina in the guy who plays Arron, not to mention more, is better was breathtaking The actors who played Regina, Cady and Arron are going to go a long way.

RIGHT i hate to say it but usually high school productions always have smth that’s off whether that’s the sound/light crew being a little wonky or ppl who seem miscasted which is all due to inexperience and it’s totally understandable considering they’re not professionals but this specific show is so impressive. everyone did so good & played their characters so perfectly, it’s like i’m watching the broadway show. i literally have no critiques for anyone, they all did fantastic & holy do they have some amazing singers 😭 i wish my hs could put on shows like this

No. It's a summer program, but a lot of the cast had lead roles in musicals from their own high schools. We also had great directors and coaches!
