I love the implication in the musical that Damien actually becomes friends with and likes Karen in this song, I think it’s sweet how it seems that most people don’t have any issues with her other than her association with Regina.

cady and janis relationship is very well portrayed in this show. there’s a lot of physical contact like casually hugging or holding hands. very cute, subtle displays of platonic affection (i think lol idk) between the two characters. maybe i’m reading too far into it but as an actress, i know that physical acting is a huge part of it as well
“And when they kissed-which btw gross-“ I love that line because the first time you hear it, you think Damien thinks it’s gross because he is jealous. But after listening to the full song you know Damien knows (in hindsight) that they were brother and sister and THAT’s why it’s gross.
