Dammit Plasmo, I'm sick of this! I've been working on models and miniatures for 50 years and I rarely get results this good. The wonderful textures you seem to get with the washes, the application of rivets and panel lines, the effortless airbrushing that always seems to come out just right. It's disgusting...and the only reason I'm not hunting you down is because you have a good heart to go with that extraordinary talent and share your work with us through these vids. Which should tell you something. You better not stop man....or I will come and find you. Until then, I hope you keep enjoying the work you do as much as we enjoying watching you do it. Absolutely awesome man. Thanks again.
I think what makes you hands down the best aircraft model maker, is your use of fabric seatbelts. They add such realism. You do amazing work my friend! Love the tiger tank build video as well!!
Martin, Excellent work as always. Just started using my Trumpeter rivet making tool, never have too worry about losing rivets again. Great work on the washes also, this is another gem for your collection. I'm still trying to let your Fw sink in. - Bob
You are a modelling God, Plasmo, and I thank you sincerely for the pleasure you are giving me throughout this Pandemic. Even though you make me feel like I built the Airfix Vampire with a sharpened treetrunk lol.
Just started building models. My first one (I just started today) is the Revell 1/48 P38J. So far I have been doing good. It took 2 1/2 hours for the cockpit, gluing has been the hardest part which surprised me.
I found this to be a very fun kit to build. My only issues were the fragility of the nose gear strut and the decak-only instrument panel. Your finish is wonderful. and it turned out much better than mine...
Wow!!! I'm such a fan of your work. Just love ho the wash at the end is all it takes to just make the model come to life! Paint scheme looks great! I feel like making an aircraft model... only to fail. :)
I really love your techniques here especially the riveting and painting after that. WOW! weathering is too much and heavy cartoon Manga style look for my taste. Shows the model in excellent way also.
Hodně zdaru do dalších modelů.
I also have been watching your videos for several years now and am amazed at how you manage to get your brushes to stay in such good condition! What make are they because no matter how much I spend all my brushes end up with the bristles pointing in all but the right direction! Keep up the great work.
+Stas Ethridge Name: dousek riveter wheel. Unfortunately I don't know where to get it. Maybe Ebay? www.ebay.com/itm/Petr-Dousek-Rosie-the-Riveter-Riveting-tool-0-75mm-1-32-1-48-double-PDR04D-/181726204890?hash=item2a4fb9d3da
All looks excessively metallic for a part wooden plane following on from the Mosquito. Also, excessively weathered and dirty; all the examples I've seen were kept very clean and smart. That said, I marvel at your skill in achieving your preferred finish and I understand that there is a general perception that weathering adds to authenticity of a model even on the occasions when the opposite is true.
thats looks stunning.if only i could build as good as you.would love to have 1 as good as this in irish air corps markings [decals courtesy of max decals]
I made the same mistake with adding the gear as well lol, such a strange way to have to build the model. Stunning build though, way better than I could manage.
Muphlon British DeHavilland Vampires got really dirty back in the day, silver showed it alot too, this is just a particularly grimy version. We Brits didn't look after our planes haha
Just like in real aircraft. It so happens that the plastic model doesn't have the engine, guns, fuel and other applicable emulators in position to cause the center of mass be properly located between the nose and main landing gears. Even if it had, like the (relatively heavy) ejection seats in this case, they would not have the proper mass distribution equivalence. The same applies to the aircraft's framework and skin.
Fan-freaking-tastic work! Two questions: are you using enamel or acrylic colors for metal and also, when you do the post-shading and mention tamiya black 1:7 thinner, could you tell me what pressure and nozzle diameter you use?
Moc pěkné! Příště bych ocenil, kdyby tam bylo ukázáno i lakování, přece jenom je to step by step, těch 5 vteřin nikoho nezabije a lidem co teprve začínají se to bude hodit
ESPECTACULAR JOB..!! Can you tell me what a kind of wires do you use it in the models of you make it to build a motor engine Thank you MASTER....I lOVE YOU TALENT BIG TIME.........................
Very beautiful work! It's seems you prefer airfix modelkits. What do you think about "short run" technology models? Like Amodel company for example? They have very rare planes. how do you think, Why everybody tell that it is for advanced modellers? Tell me please What do you think about that?
You don't happen to have a separate video explaining most of the common tools you use do you? The glues, paints, airbrush, paint brushes, sand paper, etc. Or is that giving too much away ;)
Very nice video and build as usual! I just have one question and that is what that tool your were using to add more panel line details to the model? That rolling blade that you cut across?
+Subscriber, liker and commenter You mean rivet making tool? I used this product umm-usa.com/onlinestore/index.php?manufacturers_id=9&osCsid=nih01edqvg7ir1427eq59c4gv7 But mor cheep is hobby rivet maker made by trumpeter or Rivet-R. Video tutorial riveting th-cam.com/video/KvdJ6R3iRRQ/w-d-xo.html
Well done! Really how brilliant this small aircraft can be so detailed. I still prefer larger skills. But how can your eyes see all of that and paint all of that... btw i always wondered what oil wash did you use. and what you have to wipe it off. Because when u applied the wash and took it off it not only filled the panel lines it also made a smoky weathered effect on the plane. I couldn't do that with acrylic washes. Any advice and techniques you would share with me? :D Anyway, though few days ago I saw that airfix is coming with the meteor F8 next year. Should totally get that! kutgw

I built this model yesterday. It is my first model I've ever made and I definitely recommend it as a beginner's model.
Did you build it because it's in gta v
@G-Animations it was just a question
Outstanding work, I would not dare to cover the entire model with a wash after spending so much time painting and decaling it. You're a pro!
I think what makes you hands down the best aircraft model maker, is your use of fabric seatbelts. They add such realism. You do amazing work my friend! Love the tiger tank build video as well!!
My uncle got me the new zealand version. It will be my first "serious" kit, despite being a easy one. Thank you for the video
Martin, Excellent work as always. Just started using my Trumpeter rivet making tool, never have too worry about losing rivets again. Great work on the washes also, this is another gem for your collection. I'm still trying to let your Fw sink in. - Bob

Double Wow! I am in awe. You have inspired me with this super build in 1/72 scale, my favorite.
This plane always looked like such a fun little thing to fly.
Just WOW!!!! Superb model build and oh, the paintwork....... Just WOW!!!!
These builds Are Incredible !!! And Great Background music !!!
excellent work martin you're videos are allways a source of inspiration thanks

Another fantastic build Martin, you make it look so easy!
Love the build and the music... great choice David!
You are an amazing model maker! I have been watching a lot of your videos! Good work!
Very well done a lovely Vampire in an excellently presented video.
I found this to be a very fun kit to build. My only issues were the fragility of the nose gear strut and the decak-only instrument panel.
Your finish is wonderful. and it turned out much better than mine...
This video is about to turn a cheap kit in a great model! Congratulations!
Wow!!! I'm such a fan of your work. Just love ho the wash at the end is all it takes to just make the model come to life! Paint scheme looks great! I feel like making an aircraft model... only to fail. :)
Simply stunning work - as usual. :)
Awesome work P. It looks so easy when you do it. Thanks for posting this video and big solute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Parada. Diky za sdileni, za inspiraci a za usetreny cas ;-)
I really love your techniques here especially the riveting and painting after that. WOW! weathering is too much and heavy cartoon Manga style look for my taste. Shows the model in excellent way also.
Beautiful model
Brilliant work as normal!
great job Martin
Maxamus Fire dave
Maxamus Fire
Too dirty.!
In the real world,
a/c ARE cleaned !!!
just curious, did you plan to cut away the front (2:39), or forget to install counter weights prior to assembly?
Congratulation Martin... It´s very nice job!

Great. Best video chanel of scale modeling. With love from Russia.
So darn nice Martin!
great weathering techniques

9:04 when you still have to paint the plane, but someone has chicken nuggets!
lovely build
Details are superb as useal, nice plane!!
I wondered among these little jets when HMS Eagle was at Istanbul in 1958.
What's the tool you're using starting at 4:52?
Where do you get these amazing blueprints for your riveting?
Stunning mate.
Great videos Martin!
Where can I get that riveting tool you use at 5:04??? And whats it called?

what is that pen in 4:53?
I made the same mistake with adding the gear as well lol, such a strange way to have to build the model. Stunning build though, way better than I could manage.
this plane is wonderfull !
Good job.
How do you get the putty to be so smooth? Whenever I use tamiya putty no matter how much I sand it it ends up rough and bumpy.
Diesel Robot
You can thin it with either acetone or extra thin cement (Tamiya, Mr Hobby, etc)
You need to sand it with a fine sandpaper (like 1000 or 1500 one). Hope this helps!
Absolutely great!
Love the music
Jo a jeste neco nebyl si na e-day v novych butovicich

How does the pencil called you paint the belt en the wheels with.
Simply 8rilliant - where can I get a really fine 8rush like the one you use?
nice job, whats the name of the washer you used at the end,is from Tamiya?
what kind of brush are you suing to paint the tire?
also, too much weathering imo.
+Muphlon I used Standard Pointed Paint Brush Small
Muphlon British DeHavilland Vampires got really dirty back in the day, silver showed it alot too, this is just a particularly grimy version. We Brits didn't look after our planes haha

+PhilTN alclad aqua gloss

+F Aita Yes, I used clear varnish, but it is not necessary.

DoNotEvenTry
Look at the description dipshit
why do you have to set weights in to aircraft models. could someone explain that to me please.
Jujux18 kk As counterweight or the model will be a tail sitter
Ouh okay. Thanks

looks awesome!
That looks so fucking real.
Hi David,
How much time do you let the oils to dry before cleainig it with the towel?
1 hour.

Fan-freaking-tastic work! Two questions: are you using enamel or acrylic colors for metal and also, when you do the post-shading and mention tamiya black 1:7 thinner, could you tell me what pressure and nozzle diameter you use?
***** Thank you! Seems weird though... I use same pressure and nozzle and I could swear that if I dilute paint this much, it will definitely splash
really well made, but, I had to turn that music off it was driving me nuts lol
you have so many models where do you keep them all??
+rough rough Actulay I have only 20 models. For models in scale 1/72 I only needed one small show-case.
PLASMO - plastic models do you sell your models???
Yes, but only rarely. The old models that I already do not like I use for experiments and after that throw away to garbage. So it is a sad ending :-D
PLASMO - plastic models ah I see ur skills on making these models are phenomenal keep up the good work!
Con que se puede barnizar o sellar el. Metalizado
Great work!

Ahááá :D
How did you put the wheels its so hard!!
Well done ! Love your videos ! Do you paint soldiers to?
what model knife is best?
Hi David, what paint did you use to paint the model ( i am referring to the silver)?thanks
I used (mr color silver 8).
What is the lead shot for.
+Kuddlesworth NA Model fell on tail, so I used lead shot like counterweights.
+PLASMO - plastic models I see very clever thanks. Great work by the way.
The build is fab. Maybe rethink the music 😃
ESPECTACULAR JOB..!! Can you tell me what a kind of wires do you use it in the models of you make it to build a motor engine Thank you MASTER....I lOVE YOU TALENT BIG TIME.........................
cava1962 I read your comment in an Italian accent for some reason lol
Do you recommend this kit to a semi-pro builder?
semi-pro builder :-D :-D :-D Kit is good, so why not.
PLASMO - plastic models ok

+Martin Damek Awesome job again Martin. I can't wait for the washes tutorial. Did you clear coat before the decals and washes were applied?
How are you so good?Did you study somewhere or you've got everything with experience?
can you make a video about MiG-29 And L-39 albatroz ?
Nice work, I love it:)
