I can see Manaea fitting in with Bmore. They need two starters, one ace-like. I think if they are smart, they trade for the ace-like...I think we could pry an arm away from Seattle...and then target a mid-rotation guy through free agency. Now, if new ownership wants to splash the money for Burnes - great. I just get the feeling we won't sign him, between the big market teams who are ready to spend big and just the vibe I get that Burnes doesnt want to spend the next seven years or so in Baltimore (which is fine by me, if you dont like it here, we dont want to break the bank to keep you here). But yeah, if we arent making the big splash, still being a bit frugal, we pull off a trade...I hear Valdez recently put on the block by HOU?...and do something similar to how we landed Burnes last year. An ace/ace-liek arm like Valdez for a year, and we don't have to give up a blue-chip prospect like Mayo or Basallo. It was DL Hall and Joey Ortiz for Burnes...
I hate baseball. The fact that only 4-5 teams are competing for the top free agents gets so old. “Blame the owners that don’t spend.” Dumb. Baseball is the only professional sport that doesn’t have a salary cap…also no floor like football has!
@@benjames4502 The players are the ones who don't care. They love when the big market teams spend because that means prices go up and they get paid more. Get a life and stop crying over these millionaire athletes who don't care about you.
Players don't want a salary cap you bozo. The NFL also is the sport that just had a Patriots dynasty and now a Chiefs dynasty. You're a bozo who apparently is clueless. The salary cap doesn't stop dynasties. Good thing the players already said they will never agree to a salary cap. Baseball hasn't had a repeat in 20+ years and over the last 10 years 9 different teams have won the World Series.
If the Yankees don't get Soto. They're landing one of Max Fried or Burnes and most likely Willy Adames. They're already had zoom meetings with both Fried and Burnes and pretty clear, they will land one of them.
Lots of things here probably won't happen some will but some like O's Mariners ones I just don't see it. O's can sign someone but I don't think it's a big name. It can be a Quintana or something like that
Bregman to NyY, Yankees should trade for Correa giving up Spencer Jones, Volpe and Stroman. Cashman would be able to trade for Bellinger and eat a good portion of his contract without giving very little in prospects, the money saved from Stroman would be able to be used to sign Fried.
I don’t get why you’re talking about adames as a 3B rn. Future, yeah, especially with the contract he’s expecting. But given how he’s a SS rn it’s better to assume teams that need SS over 3B for him atm
The Dodgers have spent $1.5 BILLION in FA since 2020… that’s only 4 years…the Mets said “hold my beer”… $600 million to Soto is absolutely absurd and disgusting. The Astros have broken baseball in that the Yankees, Dodgers and Mets will spend any amount of money to keep them or any other team from doing what they did ever again. It’s hard to watch the MLB, NFL and NBA looking at what these guys are getting paid now.
Did you just say the Angels had a bad bullpen? What in the hell are you looking at ??? They had a very solid bullpen. You dont do your home work do you??
Man I can’t stand the Dodgers. I hope teams come after them three times as hard. They are just overbearing now with the money they throw around. Here’s to a lousy horrible 25 season for ya bums
Love the content Robbie!! Keep up the good work!

Hot take: a starting pitcher with a recent TJ is less risky than a pitcher who has never had TJ
Depends on the guy and the way he throws. Is he a PITCHER or a THROWER
Anybody can throw only the best of the best can pitch and those guys I’ll never worry about

Blame Manfred for only supporting the top five markets while letting every other team claiming poverty when baseball is a monopoly sport.

any team can spend money so why put down baseball, don't watch if you need to complain
@@PMorinaga I didnt watch a game last year and probably won’t watch one this year either

Wrong
Loving the content lately
Mariners are cheap skates, out of touch with reality!!
I feel your pain, as a life long Twins fan, I completely understand.
No way they are spending that money on Alonso
Buxton to NyM for Batty, McNeil and 3rd tier prospects.
🤣
now why would either of them do that

Orioles are cooked if they go from an ace to an old back end guy like him.
@BigPat216 They still have Bradish

Why in the world would they give up volpe😭

It’s possible he does. He played some 3rd on the rays
Well…. This aged good with Juan Soto
I think with yu darvish there
Especially with Darvish there
If the trop was still there the rays would prob be in on profar
6:20 well he got one right
Angels had one of the best bullpens in terms of Fwar in baseball…
He doesn't know what he's talking about

I think you should calm it down
jake, any team can spend but some don't. so stop complaining
tag you sponsors please
Who should AA get to play SS Robbie? We can’t have Arcia's bat this season. The fans have already named him the walking out.
Teo aint leaving LA and Redsox get nobody
