Amazing. I am new to this world. I’ve been making sourdough bread only about a year. I have followed maybe 10 different people but I found that you explain exactly why I am doing what I’m doing and why the bread may respond differently or I should say the dough. You were the first time I understood autolyse and I like your version of Fermentalyse. The dove responded in my hand just like you said it would. The texture change once I added the salt and water and I was so happy. And it was the first time I actually got the correct spring from my bread and it looks beautiful. The very next load did not turn out as well but still good. I am really looking at all your videos to get it in my mind again so that I can start making bread again. I stopped for a period of time because of my busy schedule but now I’m ready to
Wow! The cardamom buns look delish. In India cardamom is used in many dishes, in sweets and also cardamom tea is a favourite with many. It's called "elaichi' in Hindi. Love ur videos Nicole.😘🤩😍🥰👌 So informative. And u r so pretty too😘
I add cardamom in my coffee often, and I LOVE making Indian dishes with cardamom! In fact, I exclusively get my cardamom from my nearest Indian grocery! Sending you hugs xx
I have an idea for you...Build a Strawberry Heart...what is that? In a corner of the woods near your house put 4-5 wheellbarrow's of dirt for a strawberry mound( maybe a small animal spirit statue in the middle(owl, fox, whatever you want to make it) Plant red rasberries and golden raz or double gold raz all around the mound except for a small opening. Now blackberry and blueberries of all varieties as well as a few other plants to make it look natural. Make a small pathway thru the shrubs by planting and then trimming up. Only little kids get to crawl thru the small opening to get the the red berries of the strawberry heart. How much fun is that for little kids 4-6 yrs. old. As part of a larger u-pick set up would be really cool. BB99
I tried these by accident (I had another recipe and I used this by mistake.) They taste OK, but they were swimming in melted butter. The 250 grams of butter for the filling was about twice what was needed. I saved them by pouring the butter off. I’m going back to my other recipe.
THANK YOU for the information about the sponsor!! I love the transparency!! I am on their site as I watch this video and am excited to try something new like grinding my own wheat!!!
I love cardamom..cozz it smells wonderful..here in South india we use cardamom in our sweets..it makes sweets more yummier 😋😋..n those cardamom buns look delicious..😋
Greetings and a thumb up from Singapore! I love the scent of cardamon (my ayurvedic toothpaste flavor!) and I wish to be able to make these buns soon. Cheers!
They look great Nicole. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos in this series. If i don't see you again before. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Love, God Bless and all the best in 2021 XXX
My Swedish grandmother made Bular every Christmas! These look very similar, but individual rolls AND sourdough!! Can’t wait to make them! @truefoodtv I can’t see to find the recipe link in the description. Please help :)
@@TrueFoodTV i'm cheap. Unless you've ground your own fresh grain it's hard to understand the difference in freshness. There is nothing like baking with grain you've just milled 5 minutes ago. Happy eating.
Another awesome video! Will you make videos on chicken gumbo, snicker doodles, cinnamon buns and/or French onion soup? 😋 Merry Christmas to you and EVERYONE on here!
What an awesome recipe, I'm excited to give it a try. I stumbled across your channel as I was researching for a spiral mixer, I like the FAMAG, it has the added tilting head that I think would help. I do have a question, I typically make pizza dough and use a poolish to start my pizza dough recipe, would that be ok to use as a substitute for the sour dough starter? If not, I'll use Instant yeast. Looking forward to trying this recipe. Namaste
I love your show! However, the link to the recipe isn't working and I would really like to know how many grams of each ingredient you added to make these amazing looking buns. Thank you.
I hit the thumbs up button in the first few seconds....like I always do with your videos...have yet to see a video that I went....meh! I love all of them....but then when you sd to hit the dislike button twice, I did it as I was curious, and it made me chuckle...good one, I liked that. I went back and clicked the thumbs up button. Smiling the whole time typing this...lol
Speaking as a Swedish person with strong opinions about what Americans call "cinnamon buns": this is the best cinnamon/cardamon bun recipe I've seen from an American! The only small differences that I would say an average swede would do is: skip the whole wheat (even though I buy your argument for it) use lightly crushed cardamon in the dough instead of powdered and ad some sort of topping. Cardamom is my favorite spice! It’s native to where I’m from Kerala, India!

So do the buns have a minty taste? That doesn't sound that appetizing if it does.
No, not minty at all. It's really hard to describe the smell/taste of cardamom - but it's a warm spice that pairs perfectly with butter and sugar. :)
