@@RideOnOrlando I doubt they could do that. Disney is hell bent on shoving the awful Tiana ride on every park. They are on a vendetta to destroy that ride and wipe it from memory.

It’s so strange because Splash should be something “BLM” should be celebrating. Br’er Rabbit and the others are from black folktales and stories that sailed to the Americas and slightly changed with slavery (tar babies with their origin being slaves climbing tar fences to get to food are among one of Br’er rabbit’s adventures). OLC : In summer, Splash Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland became Splash Mountain "Get Wet MAX"
I love get wet max it’s a shame you don’t regularly get really wet on splash mountain but at least we have get wet max!
As much as I love the retheme (Yes, I am one of 2 people in the world that unironically likes Tiana’s) Tokyo should keep their Splash Mountain. Even though the thing it’s based on is… well… yeah, Splash is still a classic that shouldn’t be forgotten.
There are more than 2 people that love Tiana!! Don’t worry 🤣 Although every time we try to ride it breaks down for 4+ hours, so we still haven’t gotten to
Am so really happy and so glad that not every splash mountain has been removed by that mid Tiana ride boring adventure It’s brings me memories as a kid when I rode the ride and had lots of fun now I can finally Hear my favorite song from that and see my favorite character again, I hate Disney when they freaking removed splash mountain in USA and California but am really proud at tokyo Disney that they kept this ride, respect them for keeping this ride instead of removing it to replace it (edit: idk if USA have Disney but just to make sure 😅)
If you ever wanna experience this ride again, fly to Tokyo, they also have unaltered pirates.
Pirates was too dark to film. But yes, planning to go back this fall
@@RideOnOrlando Good to know.
YESSS TIANAS BAYOU SUCKED AHHH
Was that english
Do they speak English
@@bradydixon3742 the song laughing place is in english :>
@@PlagueDocling in Tokyo
A lot of the park in Tokyo is in English, or at least easy to understand
Japan, still based AF as always.

Tokyo’s not tackling racism for this
Ah, Japan. The last place for an American to enjoy Americana.
It’s worth a trip!
Build a contemporary behind Tomorrowland
There's construction behind there right now because they're building a new version of Space Mountain being the (now closed) current one.
Anyone who can get there, enjoy it while it lasts. Last rumor was that Disney was going to play hardball with Oriental Land Company. They are going to take away the rights to play Zip-a-dee-doo dah in the park and probably the ride. They won't receive nor be able to make Splash Mountain related IP souvenirs. How long can they hold on?
If that’s the case, wonder if they’d skip Tiana’s and make a whole different ride? That would be awesome as well! Those parks were so beautiful
@@RideOnOrlando I doubt they could do that. Disney is hell bent on shoving the awful Tiana ride on every park. They are on a vendetta to destroy that ride and wipe it from memory.
I was going to say the same thing. This is the unfortunate rumor! Oriental Land Company doesn’t want T.B.A. because Princess and the Frog movie did NOT do well and is not loved over there. Disney has threatened to take away the merchandise so they can’t at least have that and merchandise is huge in Tokyo Disneyland. Let’s hope and pray that OLC holds their ground! 🤞🙏
Why would they though. There is no incentive. Possibly they want to legally extort OLC into paying more money to them to license Splash but I don't see any good reason for them to strongarm OLC into replacing Tiana's
@@frankiemoi If I know OLC, Princess and the Frog's popularity is just ONE of many many reasons
It feels kind of strange hearing characters who are supposed to be from the American South speaking Japanese, but I just hope this ride doesn't have the same treatment as the one in Anaheim
The ironic thing is that Disney changed the ride to “fight racism” when in reality it will probably create more racism.
White guilt = racism
Disney manufactured the outrage themselves.
Even more ironic that the movie they chose as a replacement for this ride is now suddenly considered controversial by Disney and only Disney.
@@jupiter9099Princess and the Frog ? But it has a black protagonist, ur dur 😂
@@juliabp6057apparently it's so controversial to them that Disney told the ride creators that they absolutely, positively could not include Dr Facilier in any capacity whatsoever because he's related to voodoo.
Tiana's Butthole Adventure is nothing compared to this. I'm lucky enough to have ridden both Splash Mountains in the USA, and will be coming for this one next year. Get ready, Tokyo Splash.
More like Journey out the green giant’s butthole😆
Imagine they reimagined this to Princess and the frog as well lol😂
I mean, we can imagine because they did it here! But will they?!
@@RideOnOrlando I mean maybe unless they turn it into something different
@@ZebraGamez19 I wouldn’t be against that either…..
@@RideOnOrlando Lets hope not!
@@RideOnOrlando Why would they?
How About This, This Ride Changes Into Tiana’s At Tokyo
Oh to the hell to the nah
Based upon the other comments on this video, I don’t think that’d go over very well
OLC will not allow it!
Never!!!
I will die 😅
Nobody should be spending money at the US parks ever again. Support Tokyo Disneyland and Splash Mountain, vote with your wallet.
Hate to tell you still owned by Disney. That be like not buying a Toyota truck but buying a Toyota car your money still going to Toyota.
@@alexwilliams9900 Tokyo Disneyland is not owned by Disney, the brand is licensed to the Oriental Land Company which collects the vast majority of the profit because they are the investors. Disney gets pennies in royalty fees. Taking your business to the Japanese parks denies nearly all the profit to Bob Iger and his cronies.
Japanese giving two shits about BLM feelings
BLM are a bunch of party pooper! 😡
Because they have no blacks to cry about it. So lucky
Splash Mountain is an incredible display of African American culture. and these people cheered for Tiana, a race swapped story written by a few white people. Disney is drowning in its own stupidity.
@@JobberJimTrust me, we’re not the ones crying about it and the ones that are are brainwashed, haven’t heard of the Br’ers or never watched Song of the South. It’s white people who think they can be offended for us.
@@JobberJim this comment is wild
Fine all they had to do at Disneyland and WDW was change the song and the name of the riverboat. They could have thought of another celebration type of song . With all there musical talented writers.
Thank goodness the woke virus hasn't infected Japan.
