And THAT is why I don't open the exit until I'm ready to leave.
I'll definitely be taking that into account going forward. It's easy to forget how absolutely bumrushed we can get by a wandering horde when questing in a poi.

I play fists on Exp. You always have em.
So much meat and leather he could have harvested from that wolf horde.
That was a FUN Episode. Deffinately the best this season sofar :)
The pipe machine gun does do as much damage as the pistol. Also I said you were specced into machine gunner which helps boost its damage and dismemberment chance so it is better than the pistol especially since the pipe machine gun holds more bullets.
I do hope the tougher zombies showing up sooner stays that way. If folks want an easier time the difficulty can be lowered.
If people want a more difficult time, the difficulty can be raised.
You're spec'd into machine guns, your pipe machine gun actually does more damage and it's much more effective at killing zombies.
Also you panicked, building blocks/wood frames can be stairs.
Normally I find people complaining a game is too easy are just trying to telegraph how great they are at a game or games in general. Games like 7 Days to Die are very cool because you can tailor the game the way you like. I wish all games did that. I think it's best to give little weight to those kinds of comments.
The pipe machine gun DOES do more damage than the pistol. Hear me out: The effective range stat is the distance at which the weapon does zero damage. Damage drops off over distance until hit hits zero at the effective range, and the machine gun has MUCH better range. At point-blank distance the pistol is better, sure, but that's expected as a game balance: Pistols are good for close encounters and rifles and long automatic guns are good for ranged encounters. At 10m you'll find that pipe machine gun outperforms the pistol per round AND has better rounds per second to boot. The machine gun definitely does more damage despite what the stat box makes people think.
If you're room clearing small rooms use the SMG. If you're clearing larger areas use the machine guns.
BTW my favorite weapon in 7DTD is the SMG, but my automatic rifle is always on hand for when I need the extra punch. Even when spec'd into pistol the machine guns reign supreme in mowing down large groups so long as they're not right up in your face, eg machine guns are good for horde night or large POIs.
I learned from the console version to never leave an opening to the outside of the building thanks to roaming packs of dogs. it was easier to just defend yourself inside even if you have to put down blocks in doorways or stairs than leaving an escape route on the bottom floor where you could easily get flanked.
You ate a sucker for the brawler build. You know you love it 😁
Any other build might've been toast with that wolf pack. You'd need something fully automatic at that point. My pistol, bow, and knife wouldn't have been fast or powerful enough 😅
Hearing your explanation on building your base is giving me DayZ PTSD when you spent days building thee base then gone over night because of a random server wipe or server shutdown.
It looks like, and I was wondering this on earlier days (before day 4 restock) That it looks like *some* of the items you're offered as a reward are added to the stock. So you still have a chance to get them, you just have to pay.
I am on day 14 on my game and I'm about the same progression as you as far as the items go the only difference being I'm doing 1 hour days which I think you are doing 2 and I have defult xp the only thing working out in my favor is I'm doing an agility build using knives and I found a toilet knife (lvl 1 hunting knife) on day 2 so that gave me a major boost to my damage output but other than that we are neck and neck
You should be looting more mailboxes for books and magazines. You did it early, but I don't seem to see you do it anymore as you travel to your different quest areas. You can even loot them, start the quest and then loot them again, even if you're not looting anything else you should at least do mailboxes. I know u know this :). Keep putting in the effort and the game will reward you ^^
Dire wolf horde, what to say. You were lucky that you were able to get a couple of reloads in or that could have ended badly. I think pain tolerance saved you there. I would put two points into pack mule, just sayin'.
I've noticed a lot of OG 7 days to die streamers don't bother with the pack mule perk and it leaves me scratching my head as to why waste a valuable early game skill.
Those were just wolves-just wait till you see the Dire wolves-lol.
They have a regular dire wolf ie. still alive then they have the zombie dire wolf the 2 big wolves with the glowing eyes were dire wolves they were just the ones that are still alive. Similar to the bear and zombie bear but you are right if those 2 dire wolves would have been the zombie version kage would have died before he made it out of that poi 😂

it takes cajones to Face Tank a 7D Cop. if they blow = you might not make it. if they blow chunks! it's still going to hurt!
You may want to do the math on those infestation quests...I don't think you're getting more ammo than you're using. 😆 The 1.0 is definitely harder than the past few Alpha releases. You've bumped your XP gain to 1.5 and have a harder difficulty setting and it shows. edit: It's been a long time since there have been wolves in the forest biome! Lucky you getting to learn this first!!
Not difficult enough? Turn up the difficulty, make zombies run all the time or sprint, make the hordes every 3 or 4 days. You can make this game almost impossible.
All u was saying was I wished the zombies were on jog or run because you shouldn't ever get hit when it on walking but either way I enjoy the videos

Could be the resetting of the trader to get the next tier of quests is pushing him through the days causing a restock without changing the restock day
Probably since It's a cheat and the game doesn't reward cheating.

What is the difference between using the axe vs using the wrench to break stuff down? What's the pros/cons and are there certain things that you can only use a wrench on?
Amounts of materials returned to you & perhaps stamina usage. And yes; you should use wrenches on specific items like office chairs & vehicles which will add mechanical parts or other items not found when simply using an axe

The experience makes them a little bit tough but the game difficulty is almost set to easy at nomad.

They are pain in the a.. You have to do them at night and most players like to get resources wood, stone etc.) through the night. Like questing trough the day, building, mining through the night. When you quest at night its harder and you mostly use more ammo, first aid etc., but the loot is the same.
Why are you looting only 40% of the POIs?
Tryed a t2 infected clearing and was droped down from the roof and landet at 2 cops and a feral tree chopping guy. Yea i died hehe

Years ago he was laying on his bed & looked at the digital alarm clock upside down & it read 8h8 he realized that h is the 8th letter in the alphabet so he decided to own 848 & make it his number.
