Reagan, please wear your eye protection and be careful of flying/shooting rocks and other debris!!! You’re an awesome young lady and I really admire your enthusiasm and strong work ethic!!! Good Luck, kiddo!!! Be Blessed!!!
How many times did I say to myself yeah I’ll use googles/ glasses and didn’t. I almost lost an eye! I was weed whacking and a small rock hit me directly on the eye. It freaking hurt! I starting seeing blurry. I went to the ER just in case. I still see kinda blurry in that eye but they didn’t see anything wrong. Moral of the story, protect your eyes. She’s learn!
Reagan, you are an example of what everyone in college protesting should be doing instead of wasting air screaming about things they have no control over. When you finish classes, you go to work. I think your parents are doing excellent raising you and I am sure they are extremely proud of you. Keep it up..
How refreshing to see a young person go and make herself some money, and not just sitting in front of a computer screen or on a phone texting their friends. You’ll go far young lady.
Reagan, I am thoroughly impressed. A young woman whose willing to work for a living! Awesome job. I did this type of work professionally for many years. Just wanted to mention that you should go forward (rather than backwards) with your stick edger. It is much safer. Safety glasses too (I know, I don't like them either) but you never need them, until that one occurrence where you do. Great job young lady!
Wow. It’s amazing to see young people like your age mowing lawns & respect the yard & make it look great! Keep up the good work & enjoy being an older kid! FYI- I remember mowing lawns in the summer time when I was 14 yrs old too! Lots of fun & great exercise!
Excellent job and work ethic, Reagan! You are quite the entrepreneur! As others have mentioned, please consider safety equipment. One other tip, unless the homeowners object, it's healthy for the lawns to just let the clippings fall into the grass. You are an amazing young lady!
You are such an inspiration to other young people. I have a cousin who started out much the same as you have. He eventually turned that passion into a full-fledged successful landscaping business. His success enabled him and his wife expand into buying and flipping houses in which they did almost all the work themselves. You will no doubt run into detractors (or probably already have). Ignore them. Whether or not you decide to continue in landscaping is up to you. Your determination and willingness to work hard will make you a success no matter what career you choose to pursue.
I wish you were in Thousand Oaks, I would always hire you to support you. I have so much respect for your hard & honest work. Results are professional. ❤
Your work is 100x better than the _professional_ lawn care guy who mows my yard. He only has to mow one of the 4 sides of my yard; the rest is all native plant/ pollinator gardens. He still mows that tiny bit with a riding mower that leaves huge ruts when he turn around, & even mows over the blocks that I have around my newly planted shrubs to kerp them safe from being mowed over. Every time I come home, I cringe to see what he's killed this week. You have respect for peoples' yards and for the job you're doing! Good luck to you!
I have worked in the lawn care industry for 25+ and I agree with everyone that safety comes first. I would recommend steel toe boots and before you say No Way I'm not going to wear those hideous boots, companies do have stylish steel toe boots right for you instead of a black boot. And you gotta wear eye protection. Without eyes and feet your not going to be doing what you love to do. And you gotta wear long pants. Out of everything I said as well as everyone else, you will thank us tomorrow. We just want you to be safe and enjoy taking care a lawn as we all do. Be Safe. Peace Out
Seaside Ca. USA. Way to Go Make That Money Make Your Dreams Come True l Like That a Young Woman Making Money 💰💰💰WOW Honestly Started Off Young I’ll be a proud current for that shout out to the parents are like seeing that. May God bless you.
I have watched several videos of you mowing. I am not sure of your age now, but you are showing with a little planning, and very hard work you can achieve anything. Our young college age adults need to get off their backsides and study your work ethics in detail. I started pushing a lawn mower to make a few bucks 57 years ago at the age of 13. Nothing but a 24 inch push mower, gas can, and an old 26 inch bicycle. Tied the mower to the back of the bike to go from job to job. At 70 now, I still pick up a few dollars on small yards, but I am having to slow down due to me wearing out. Tell your parents an old man said thankyou for raising and teaching you to work, instead of holding your hand out. i have tons of respect in you and your parents. Side note, I learned the hard way, long pants, heavy shoes or boots, safety glasses and gloves for things you have to get really dirty on. Someone said to save the clippings and make your own fertilizer. It works, It makes you tons of extra money over time. Also never cut the grass the same direction. Mow north and south one week, next mowing go east to west. Keeps down ruts, and makes the grass look like carpet. Also helps with spreading clippings if the clients will let them lay. This way you reseed every mow, and the rotting grass is great fertilizer. Good luck, keep the you tube videos going and update on jobs and anything new you try and make money on.
Do some research into small household anearobic digesters. With all the fresh cuttings and if you can collect dry leaves from clean ups, you can produce super rich liquid organic fertilizer which you can sell back to your clients. They get a two in one service, cut their lawn and fertilize it same time. Then start to collect organic house hold waste too for your digester.
Reagan does more work on one yard than most boys/men up to gen X. do all week. maybe even longer. I would be proud to be her parent. Great job Reagan!!
Landscaping is an honorable profession. She could study horticulture in college or just from experience from working with knowledgeable people in the business. Of course she may end up being a doctor. The world is her oyster. Whatever that means. Ha
My dad was a gardener. Growing up, I used to mow lawn with him in the summers and some weekends. It’s a dirty and dusty job. The lawns here in CA are not nice like that. It gets messy when there are dog litters all over the yard. I learned hard work. Good job young lady. Please put as much as you can into a ROTH or investments. I wish I had investment advice at a younger age.
Hey I'm kyle from KL MOWING and I'm not gonna lie you did an amazing job on that lawn. I own a mowing business at the age of 13. And I'm surprised if how you make so much money in a week I look for a house to mow and I can never find one so I have been getting no luck lately and my crew can't either. I live in Sand springs, Oklahoma 74063 and I live in a neighborhood called Town & Country it's an estate neighborhood but nobody wants their lawn mowed. But you do an amazing job so stay confident and always do an amazing job. Have an amazing life....
absolutely brilliant ! what a great idea to use a bike n trailer ... i dont know how many times i said i need a truck n trailer ( but could not afford ) ... be safe , your important !! your going places young lady !
Good work! But I agree with people here who asks you to wear special glasses for such works or full face protection shield. So, cheers from Vilnius and good luck!
Young lady, you already know at 14 what many will never understand. One must have a plan, invest their capital wisely, put in massive effort (sweat), reap the reward for you have earned every cent with that honest sweat, then hold your head high and say "I did that!" There is still hope in our nation as long as girls, and boys, like you walk our land.
Reagan...question, why bag all the clippings...can you mulch or side discharge with some of your customers? The clippings actually provide nutrients to the lawn and soil. Great job!!
I always get a kick from watching edgers get used.... In 23 years of lawn care I'll use a garden edger to cut overgrowth back from walkways but every other time just flip the trimmer 180 degrees and vertical trim all my edges. Try it, it saves a lot of time. Just be careful of windows and breakables down stream. Low rpm trimming practice important, doesn't take much throttle to cut through grass but too much cuts through everything. Good job on your videos, if only youtube and proper battery equipment was around when I was your age. 👍
I totally admire her work ethic, but she needs to put some safety glasses on, even that battery powered weed eater will throw a rock up in your face or in your eye. However I figured she would be making a lot more than $250 a week mowing grass I thought she'd be closer to $500, also she could be making a lot more money if she would quit wasting her materials. She keeps using a different garbage bag on every yard in the bag is only 10% full to start with You could use that same bag three or four times before it's full with the size yards that she's cutting every dollar counts.
Battery operated great for the economy and environment. The way of the future. No more gas and oil on bushcutter. I'm not sure about mower, I don't own one. Yes use safety equipment, always safety first. You are already a successful individual.
oh to be young and ambitious. 10 lawns, $265 after tax. Below a certain age and dollar income, their are not taxes to pay, unless state has them. small lawns. No gas...one time expense of equipment. after that clawing back investment which was expensed, so no taxable income on that portion. 26.50 per lawn...mow 10 lawns for $265 after tax. what she said.
Im all for hard work but this is not it. She’s gonna have health issues if she continues to burn herself out like this. It’s a marathon not a race young lady. And the juice is not worth the squeeze
Reagan, I agree with mossiecoleman-nortz4712. You should have eye protection. And gloves when you handle your mover. Keep up the good work and get more work. Good luck!
Reagan, please wear your eye protection and be careful of flying/shooting rocks and other debris!!! You’re an awesome young lady and I really admire your enthusiasm and strong work ethic!!! Good Luck, kiddo!!! Be Blessed!!!
Also long pants to protect your legs from debris too, great job!!!!
Agreed
I wear Aussie hi vis and jeans. Long sleeves keep you safe and cool in the heat.

Good for you young lady

Raise your prices , girl. Seriously. Most guys charge a lot more .
Not me I charge $25 if it's an Acer of land yeah I'm dumb for that but I'm going to raise it to $30
@@Minibikeboy you gotta adjust for inflation. $40 is minimum around Texas ...$60 with edging.
You’re a young girl protect your eyes and muffle your ears
On these hot summer days you might think about wearing a hat. Stay safe sweetheart.
Like you ...
Grass was low grow
Hearing a 14 yo worry about paying taxes on lawn money is wild
Better wear some leg protection, or you are going to get some scratched up legs.
I bet she has to turn down jobs because of lack of free time
😰🤕
Im all for hard work but this is not it. She’s gonna have health issues if she continues to burn herself out like this. It’s a marathon not a race young lady. And the juice is not worth the squeeze
