On est trop dure avec la Belgique, d'accord ils ne gagnent pas de trophées , mais ça reste une des meilleurs équipes au monde, et on oublie que la Belgique est un petit pays de 11 millions d'habitants. Quand je vois les résultats, 3-2 / 2-1 c'est pas non plus des 3-0 ou des 5-0, je pense qu'à ce niveau la chance, la réussite joue beaucoup. Moi j'ai vibré avec cette équipe depuis des années, ils ont gagné énormément de match avec brio, alors un vrai supporter devrai accepter la situation et continuer à les supporter comme je le ferais encore pendant des années j'espère.

We waren echt heel unlucky die match want er zijn toch veel mooie aanvallen gebeurd en CDK heeft als enige gescoord. Een penqlty tegen die courtois raakt maar unlucky niet buiten de goal vloog. 2x op de lat, 1x op de paal. Als we lucky waren had dit ook 4-1 geweest voor ons. Maar dat is voetbal nu eenmaal, en de belgische "fans" moeten stoppen met altijd dat zeuren over of we nog een prijs kunnen pakken of niet, zolang ze niet super domme dingen doen moeten we gewoon onze smoel houden en supporteren voor de red devils.

None of us fans ever believed we had the best team in the world, only 4th or 5th best at some point - probably - but we just happened to have the best performing one (after France) over the last decade: 2× semi-finals, 3× quarter-finals.
This way, the team got ranked n.1 at the FIFA ranking, but it has been a 'poisened gift' to our players eversince. It increased pressure. We've only been confident about smaller games because of the individual talent on the pitch. But we were concerned about those (mainly defensive) weaknesses all along.
There hasn't been much confidence in Martinez' tactical system vs bigger teams, nor his flexibility to change it, nor his communication, nor his selection policy. Whoever is in denial of that, is completely unaware.
