In this video, I talked about my Volvo bus journey from Kolkata to Bakkhali. I was scheduled to go by Volvo bus of WBTC. I paid about 260 rupees for it. You may buy tickets online at WBTC's website and at the ticket counter at the L20 bus terminal, however I bought mine through a third-party booking app. The bus connects Kolkata to Bakkhali via Diamond Harbour, the two cities are roughly 122 kilometers apart. At 6.30 in the morning, we set out on our journey. Due to heavy traffic, it took more than three hours and forty-five minutes to go from Kolkata to Bakkhali. Three hours was the original expected time of journey.
Around 10:15 a.m. the same day, we arrived in Bakkhali. From Kolkata, there is a daily A/c bus service to Bakkhali. These buses travel via Diamond Harbour, Kakdwip, and Namkhana on their route from Kolkata to Bakkhali. At 07.20 am, the bus departing from Kolkata's Esplanade heads towards Bakkhali. The tour was fantastic, but the service may be a bit better. If you're planning a trip to Bakkhali and don't want to use the train, you can take this air-conditioned bus service from Kolkata to Bakkhali.
