- In Geometry Dash 2.2, I wanted to see if I could complete the RobTop level DASH using only one game mode at a time.

eric, if you just put a ship portal at the start of the level and set it to "free mode" in edit special, it will make it so there are no boundaries with gamemodes.

Just a friendly reminder that at 2:30 the text says "ball 8%" instead of the "cube". Surprisingly, the ball made it even further to 11% :D

another way you could deal with the bounds of gamemode like ship and ball is you could put the gamemode in free fly or make the camera zoomed out a bunch so you don't have to add portals
He switched into free fly mode using the camera trigger later 6:28

It's crazy how the UFO is the only gamemode able to beat the entire level, and it's the only gamemode not in the actual level.

There’s a way to add it to the portal by going to *edit specials* and enabling *free mode*
Fun Fact: in that one part in Dash with the wave, you don't need to spam checkpoints. The level is teleporting you to an invisible platform, then switches you back when it's time for the ship.

Hello Eric, I don't usually like being this vunerable but I've been really struggling over these last years, adhd, manic depression, anxiety, ocd. i've been drinking a lot to try and get rid of these feelings but unfortuneately it doesn't do much. Sure, theres still some really good parts about my life, and ive found some escape in gaming, but its very hard to really get into a game and enjoy life when i'm working 30+ hour weeks and being exhausted. I remember back in primary school i came home sick and you had uploaded a demon level, i dont remember the name but it was just a cluster mess of a level haha, and i was so excited to watch it, that was awesome. I just wanted to say thank you for the awesome memories and i always look forward to the next upload, im still pushing.

Hey, I think using time warp trigger is allowed, it doesn’t change the physics at all just the visual speed, it’s like speed hack!
Also the reason you die in that part of the drop in the wave, is because of screen there is a platform the cube slides across to transition to ship, but it’s not made for wave, so there’s no blocks you can slide on.
For the spider part, you might be able to clip through the spikes falling on you

A tip for deleting the portals is just to place and select the portal you want to delete, and click where it says “delete all [X] object”
Also to delete the boundaries just place the portal in the beginning and click “free mode”
While we’re on the topic of wrong game modes, fun fact: the entire first robot part in geometrical dominator up to the ship is all possible on cube! It’s very difficult, but it is possible, and there aren’t even any frame perfects :)

6:29 Eric, all you have to do is when you place the portal down, click edit object and choose free mode, that will get rid of the border indefinitely.

he is not placing a portal, he is setting the level to start with the gamemode
The reason you die in the blue ball part in wave is because above the level in the transition there are blocks and a "Options" Trigger which disables clicking to jump, later, its enabled to fix this to the ship part, so your right, its impossible with wave. (The block like you said werent made for the wave so if in the editor you add "D" blocks it will work)
To fix the ship camera issues, just turn on Free Mode in the portal settings!
FYI: dash is possible with only the wave because the transistion into the blue light just teleports you up and there's platform that's killing you because there's no d block on those platfroms. Also the end is also possible but hard.
When i did this i passed it but i cheesed it which means i didn't go with the intended path.

You're able to use freecam mode now. You don't have to place ship portals everywhere like in 2.1. Just place one ship portal at the beginning, and edit the object to enable freecam mode. Then it will disable the floor and ceiling.

Eric, quick tip for deleting all the portals. You can place every game mode portal at the start and select them then hit “delete all” in the delete menu

Tip: you can select “delete all” on an object your editing, if you click this button every of that objects you’re selecting (you can redo this with undo button if you clicked by accident).

I can't believe that Dash is possible with only the UFO even though Dash doesn't have a single UFO part. 😊
at 7:07 there is actually a swag route that skips the level if you dont go into the robot portal and instead exit the ship section by barely glitching into the block below the portal at a specific angle and you can skip the rest of the level once you get to the part where it locks the camera

The reason the wave run "sorta ended" in the ship transition was that it used a floor to slide on and you tp back in to the transition when it ends, so if you turn off camera controls and bot it, its 100% possible up to the last robot
Eric, HERE IS A TIP FOR TYPES OF LEVELS LIKE THERE, you can use free mode on ANY portal to make it so there is no boundaries (like the ship, wave, ufo, spider, ball, AND swingcopter)
you can put a ship portal with free mode, or use the mode trigger too at the start.
If you select a portal in the editor there should be a button in the delete tab that says “Delete all” and then a picture of the object you selected which deletes all of that specific object
eric, heres a tip. you dont have to go through the level and delete every single one of the gamemode portals, just place all 8 gamemode portals somewhere empty and go to delete and press delete all

16:55 it's possible to get throught the teleportals, there's just invisible platforms off-screen. You can get through it by spamming in the 2 block gap
as someone someone else said, the ship transition is possible with wave. it has invisible gameplay, though. you should check it in the editor

an easier way to delete all the portals is to place a portal of every gamemode, select one of them and then go to the delete tab and press "delete all [portal] which deletes every portal of the one you selected. this also works for every object

If You put a block, portal,or something. If You go to delete that, it says *Delete everything (Something here)* so You don't need to delete everything,and You don't need to use the mode trigger,just click the portal and put *Free mode*
You can delete all of the portals of one type in one click by placing the respective portal from the editor in the level, selecting it and then going to delete -> delete all. That way you don't have to individually delete every portal.
I have a cool video idea! You could try famous ship parts with the swingcopter gamemode, like an impossible or not

Eric, to delete all the portals of ship for example, you can just select the ship portal, go to delete, and press delete all, it's gonna delete all ship portals
You can delete all of the portals using just one of them. Select any kinds of portal you want to delete, them go to tab “delete” and then select the down left button that said “delete all [object]”.

To get rid of portals, place down them all at the start then go to edit select them all except the portal you want to keep then press delete all. Combine that with user's strategy, and you have the level. (User is the person below me)
20:00 the swing copter has the same gravity as the ship, so theoretically, this would be possible.
You should try swingcopter on the other old robtop levels go see if theyre possible
For the wave, there is a block with a D on it and it makes it that you can slide on surfaces as wave
