- Concrete scaling usually happens on high-traffic areas, such as roads, warehouses, and factories. These slab defects usually measure only around 1mm to 10mm in depth.
Therefore, an ordinary concrete mix or pure cement cannot repair such types of concrete damage. You’ll need a concrete repair product that’s durable enough to withstand heavy loads at such very thin application of mortar.
What's the right concrete repair product for concrete floors that require only 1-10mm patching and immediate return to service after a few hours?
Repairing damaged concrete or concrete scaling on large areas like roads, pavements, and warehouses requires a quick solution because time is crucial for such areas. Immediate return to service is necessary as to avoid hampering the operations of the workers.
Furthermore, the concrete repair should be done right -- using the the right method and product -- to prevent frequent repairs, inconvenience, and accidents. This is why using ordinary concrete mix is not recommended for such problems because it lacks the required compressive strength to withstand the load and traffic in the area.
The process of repairing concrete scaling on slabs can be complicated as you need to consider many factors, such as gauging the depth of concrete damage, the right cut to use, and most importantly, the products and methods for repairing concrete damage.
Fortunately, there's a cheaper and faster solution to repair concrete scaling, which prevents aggravation of damage, leading to expensive and complicated remove-and-replace.

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can use Hardcrete 510 pero kailangan po makapal ang application, hindi kakayanin kung 10mm thickness lang. Hardcrete 510 can approximately cover 1.25sqm at 10mm thickness per 25kg bag.

Hi. Thank you for your inquiry. You have to check first if the grout and tiles are still intact, not debonded and has a good level. If this conditions are met, you can apply Epocoat FCH over it but the primer you need is Blockout TW instead of Epocoat MB.

engineer binaklas ko po ang tiles ng slab concrete namin para palagyan ng water proofing, pwede ko po ba gamitin yang recommended nyong materials para gamiting pang repair dun sa bukul bukol o ordinary cement, alin po ang mas maige salamat po.
