    It’s great to see a video comparing so many cameras at once - it’s hard to tell what to get when a video only compares 2! That stealth cam has some nice features and I liked the colour tone in the footage - it’s surprising how different they all are!

    Just picked up two Reactors thanks to this review. Thanks for the time and effort you put into these reviews to keep them fair and honest! You really took all factors into account, including the app which is very important with cell cams. Seems like just a few years ago that cell cams were pie-in-the-sky for us normal hunters but the performance and cost of cameras/plans has improved in leaps and bounds! Thanks again for all the hard work with these vids, from a fellow PA hunter.

    Great review. There's nothing bad to say. I did have a thought that might help in the future, and I may be wrong. At night, if you walk in front of all four cameras, don't all the IR light flash at the same time, making it brighter than it normally would be. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this review.

    It's definitely was between the covert and stealthcam for me. I agree with audio being important on video mode. I was surprised at how poorly they were except on the stealthcam. I don't mind it taking a little longer to get the pictures to come through! On the night pictures of the Browning it seemed like the first picture was pretty dark and 2nd 3rd pics the IR kicked in.
    Great comparison and incredible thoroughness. This should be a college course. Lol. Thanks for putting in the effort!

    • @zzz7zzz9
      @zzz7zzz9 ปีที่แล้ว

      All the night imagery illumination is being affected by the other cams. That's the one thing that can't be compared when cams are used together. I have a spypoint that has the worst illumination ever. Night pics/vids are pitch black, with just eyes reflecting. One night, playing around in the back yard, i reviewed what it captured, and suddenly this cam was was producing killer night imagery. Then i quickly realized it was because the other cams i had out with it, were illuminating the scene for it.

    Great review! I don't have any experience with the Stealth or Wildgame Innovations, but I do own and use Browning, Covert, and Tactacam Reveal cameras. Browning does a great job with clear and precise video and photos, but as you have said, it's a hog when it comes to battery usage and cellular range is also an issue with the stubby antenna. I am very happy with the Covert Code Blacks and my Tactacam Reveals and operate all of my cameras with external battery boxes to boost in-the-field time. Although you didn't include "noise" in your review, I do find my Tactacams to be quite noisy when they trigger, enough so that they sometimes startle the game. I have experienced that issue when hunting next to the camera as well. My first choice is definitely the Covert, although I own more Tactacams because of the price difference. Thanks for taking the time to make this in-depth video review. Great job!!!

  • @cyoteone
    @cyoteone 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The covert cameras require rechargeable batteries if you hook it up to an external battery. However, it only requires a minimum of 4 batteries to operate the camera. They are paralleled in three groups. It can be entirely operated with no batteries but with the external power cord. Which can be doctored up to attach to a car sized battery. It is a six volt camera but the power supply does 6 and 12 volts. Knocks the 12 volts down to six.

  • @cyoteone
    @cyoteone 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Covert is the best option here. That camera states an 80 foot range detection. But you will soon find how much of a pain it is to set up a cell cam with no built in screen. If you have no signal you can still use the covert as a regular camera. Try that with those other ones. I have been using cover code black cameras for several years. Tried a moultry when they first came out. Internal antenna was week. Took for ever to aim the camera. Ended up selling and got my second covert. Third one on the way. This new one selects between att or Verizon.

    Browning makes good guns but I haven’t had good luck with the cameras.

      @@HuntingFarmerOfficial I have a browning trail camera & when it gets down to about 50% batterie life it stops working all together. I love my bps & my a bolt.

    I always enjoy your extensive reviews. I would not buy that Wildgame camera. Not going to wait 2 min for a picture to be sent. That's way too long.

    Unfortunately cellular trail cameras are very handy but they piss away battery
    And cell plans are expensive especially if you run 7 cameras

      I agree with both thoughts. Solar is almost a must with cellular cameras. I haven’t found a great way to combat the monthly fees 🙁

    I’ve had great luck with Browning cameras but their camo pattern is horrible. We all try to hide our cameras the best we can & their pattern is just to bright

      Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. That’s interesting you say that. When looking at the 4 cams side by side, that really stood out!
