I was jumping up and down celebrating Brexit on June 16th 2016. I was about to get on a roller coster at 6 flags over Georgia. No one else in America knew what had happened. It didn't stop me! I was so happy for you!
But so many of the warnings he mocks... actually came true. The day before the brexit vote, the pound was worth $1.48, and it's still, a full five years on, never recovered. Today we're at $1.23, and falling, and experiencing the cost of living crisis that comes with that. But I guess it's funny? Who cares about the British public eh?
@@RaRa-eu9mw A weaker pound makes tourism within the UK more affordable, and it benefits UK exporters and companies doing business abroad (and their shareholders). Cheer up, old boy.

@@RaRa-eu9mw 😂 food shortages??? We've run out of a few seasonal vegetables and fruit due to the bad weather in Spain etc! @@christinewilkinson2424 Perhaps ask why "bad weather in Spain" has caused the UK to run out of certain foods, but not the EU. You can remember the 80s when the food supply was this bad. Brilliant. The thing is, we shouldn't be accepting of a food supply like we had in the 80s when the rest of Europe gets to live in the present. With regards the pound, that's an easy one. Indeed! I fixed a day off for the vote and count and watched it on the BBC (before dumping TV). Had a great time that night watching Dimbleby look on in total surprise and horror at the Great Vote. His invited lovies and experts were equally surprised and dismayed. It seems as if their expertise was listening to one another and twitter. Way off the mark!

Poverty, house prices, not enough houses being built, poorly built houses, sewage in water, trade deficient, pot holes, bendy bananas, not bendy bananas, too much fish not enough fish, the BBC etc etc- in fact the EU was blamed for everything when it was 99% UK problems.
