Tips for a better lemoncello : remove tip and use only the zest (if there is white on the peel it s not good)

Your lemons look waxed. Do you pour boiling water over them to remove the wax or does the alcohol take care of that

Man I just purchased a 35 lb bag of lemons here in Chile for the same as $3 USdollars. Gotta do something with them. Sounds like a plan. jim
