    As a teacher, I love seeing how you plan and organize in your bujo. I have a similar set up but it is in a separate notebook through the school that was actually my brain child.

    I have a section that lists all my doctors and medications, and this year I'd like to make a car maintenance list as well!

    I have a work bujo and a life one - I teach at a university and also have research & admin responsibilities so it makes more sense to split the books that way… v tempted to try the coloured tabs for next trimester!

    I teach at a community college, and I have all my teaching/work spreads in one place at the beginning of my journal. I have a spread per class as well as a spread for college-wide events, a spread to list my current students and any notes I have about them (where they work, etc), as well as a few spreads for non-class-related information (committees I am on, etc.). It's a lot but it helps to have it all in one place.

    In 2020, I switched to a modular setup in a Traveler's Notebook. First insert is for collections or spreads the are on a year or longer time scale (fits 3 years), second insert is where I churn through monthly/weekly/daily planning (fits 3-5 months), third insert is for memory keeping (for 1 year). In the first insert, I put the stuff that refreshes with each calendar year in the front and everything else gets added in from the back. I went with this to reduce migrations and unused pages, and I think it's working out nicely for my needs!

    I used to have a teacher planner and a bujo. Because my bag was very heavy I thought about combining them into one planner. But then my school issued Ipads for every teacher and I therefore switched to a digital teacher planner. Theoretically I could use this planner as a bujo as well because it has a section for "personal planning" with loads of spreads, but I'm not inclined to do so. I'd miss my paper and pens too much. And being still a newbie at digital planning I'm not quite sure I really make use of it's full potential. But I like having school stuff on a school device. It helps separating work from leisure time😊

    Love all your Ideas, Jess!! This year I have my start of year set up with my goals for 2022 then January (yay for SUMMER HOLIDAYS) . After Jan I am going to do a Term 1 overview based on this video and you previous teach bujo videos (thanks for the ideas :) ) followed by Feb, March and April monthly and weeklies then a term 2 overview. I do all my lesson planning digitally in my school onenote.

    I set up teaching relative spreads among my everyday bullet journal (i use future log for meetings, hollydays..., i use weekly spread for lessons to prepare, ... etc). I find it easier for organisation to have all informations (personnal, work) at the same place. I have spreads just for teaching though (like class lists, with options and groups, lessons planning for the year...).
    I love the rainbow tabs

    This video is a good reminder to start setting up for the second semester. This year I'm using your lesson topic spread from another video you mentioned. It feels weird to see the start of a school year with the start of the year :D And, oh, the changes of classes you teach during the school year...

    I am currently using 3 planners.... I use a spiral bound horizontal for my "lesson plan book", a personal size with printed inserts for my "take back and forth to work" planner, and a bujo for my personal plans. I don't like to have all my stuff in one planner, or I never stop working. My horizontal works for lessons, because I have a separate binder for each of the 4 grades/classes that I teach daily with details about the lesson. The planner is just to help keep me on schedule. I use the weekends in my lesson planner for to do list, reminders, and quotes.

    Not a teacher, but super informative. I use a separate work journal. It's a big mental difference between tasks /projects and more of an artistic/daily journal.

    This is so useful! I wish education in my country was divided into neat terms, but alas, it is not. I'm definitely going to try to keep all my teaching spreads at the back of the journal this year!

    I've been considered using a bullet journal for teaching! I'm a first year kindergarten teacher and all of my lesson planning is currently online per my district's request, but I definitely want to eventually start a bullet journal completely teaching related. Do you have any bullet journal ideas specifically for elementary teachers?! I'd love to hear them 😍Thank you again for such a helpful video 😊

    I have a separate bullet journal for teaching. In my regular bujo, I write in "school" as a habit or task when I have things to do outside of work hours, then look at my bujo to see what those tasks are. I do keep sections - one for basic information - my teaching schedule, the admins and counselors assigned to different areas of the alphabet, so I know who to contact about any given student, rosters, school calendar, new procedures, emergency drill info, etc. I have my monthly and daily pages (I do 1 term/set of classes per bullet journal usually - I'm on a 4x4 block schedule, so I teach two distinct sets of students during the school year - a fall term and a spring term set) for writing down events, meetings, when I'm giving assessments, etc. I have a separate section for club information, since I sponsor two after-school clubs, and each club is color-coded. They each get a roster, schedule of meetings, what's happening for each meeting, lists of events or volunteers to bring snacks, etc. And then I have a spot for writing down notes from faculty/staff meetings, department meetings, PD, and emails, followed by a section for planning out new ideas or making notes/reflections on how certain lessons went.

    I love following you and someone told me to come check out your teacher videos too. I’m a teacher librarian and found trying to keep two journals was too much I love how you incorporate it into your every day journal. Will you just start your January spread after this section? I was trying to figure out if I should do it by month but I think doing it by our quarters- 9weeks at a time similar to your terms will be helpful

    • @JashiiCorrin
      @JashiiCorrin  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, right after these pages I've got my January setup! 😄💜 Then, because we start Term 2 on May 2nd, I'll have my term 2 stuff between my April and May pages (or at least before May if I'm moving into a new journal by then!)

    I'm trying to create chapters in my 2022 journal but I haven't yet worked out how exactly because I end up adding collections throughout the year and they mess with the chapters I create. Gotta put pen to paper in the next day or two...so I need to work it out. Will let you know...
